I'm 4 months gone so due in first week of July (honeymoon baby!). Maybe we should talk to you both about a welcome to the world ceremony and of course delicious cake later this year!! i honestly think it's the best venue in Ibiza - the food is better than anywhere, the service is fantastic and it's the one place apart from the villa weddings that doesn't get shut down at 2am or earlier. that view for the ceremony is incredible too :-)

The hacienda is lovely a true classic 5* Ibiza hideaway, The place is stunning with spectacular views, the price is on par with places that are far inferior. Stay there and enjoy a Jacuzzi on your balcony overlooking the beautiful bay. Highly recommended. My Husband is the preferred English celebrant host at this venue - he has lots of lovely pictures of weddings at this venue. I really think you should visit your short list of venues by having a 'few days away' it would be well worth the expense to find your perfect venue for your very special day.

This is true unfortunately - as of now, you are not allowed to bring your own DJ to Elixir and you must use theirs.

Anyone know any saxophone players in ibiza

Calling amante brides!!!!!! Has anyone managed to negotiate/barter the original quotation? I have just recieved the quote and with all the extras ie. sound system, chair covers etc, its much much more than we can afford. I would not hesitate to try and get a price down over here but not sure if i can/how i can in Ibiza?!

Any advice/experiences would be much appreciated! x

Hi, just engaged and in the very early planning stages. Ibiza is looking quite likely and I especially like the look of elixir, but can anyone share anymore details about it? The website itself is very sparse and I don't want to start filling out forms and getting pestered before any proper decisions have been made. If anyone has contacted them and wouldn't mind sharing some info I'd really appreciate it, mainly I'm wondering how much they charge per person for the BBQ option,(I read the meal options and the main courses had me drooling!) if they do drink packages, and if they give you exclusivity of the restaurant. If anyone can point me in the direction of some photos from there that would be great as well. Thanks all x

To all Elixir brides! I am getting married at Elixir on Friday 13th September 2013, if anyone is getting married either side of this date such as Thursday 12th September or Saturday 14th September I had an idea that we could possibles share decoration costs by all bringing bits and bobs with us and leaving them at the venue for all 3 weddings. the costs are all adding up for me so thought this would be a cost effective idea. We could even let Elixir keep the items for future weddings.... Let me know x

Hi i think he was around 250 - 300 euro but I can't remember. He played after the ceremony along to some chill out tunes then again with the dj for the whole night.

I'm getting married at elixir this summer in Oct woo hoo x a million, I've just been over to see the venue again, it's improved so much since I looked in aug last year. I asked Leah Vicks planning assistant to suggest other DJs as well as Steve and she gave me 2 more recommendations, but we decided to go with Steve I'm the end because he seemed really accommodation with our music choice, Leah never told us we have no choice but Steve, they just recommend him over the others as they have personal experience with hi..

maybe you should ask Leah the planning assistant girl for other recommendations for the DJ, I asked her and she gave me 2 more, she never said we couldn't have other DJs..we ended up going for Steve because he seemed really good, but we could have chose others if we had wanted.

I'm trying to decide if I should have lanterns as I've just been to elixir last week and they have put up lots of fairy lights..are you having the lanterns, they look pretty I think.

I am getting married at Elixir on Friday 6th September. I am taking over navy & raspberry lanterns paper pom poms amongst other decorations. If anybody would like to share the cost of decorations either side of that date I would be happy to share the cost.

Hi all I'm new and hoping to get married in Ibiza in Sept 2015. I initially fell in love with Cap des Falco but have heard many bad things about the management (has anyone married here) I am looking at going with Eat Ibiza and holding the wedding at Elixir. Has anyone married here and any info would be a big help.

Cap des Falco is a beautiful spot and I've worked on some lovely weddings there - you definitely shouldn't rule it out yet!

I agree with Beezwax. Cap es falco is beautiful! All the photos I've seen of weddings at this venue look amazing! You really should try to get in touch with someone who was married there to recently to see how it went.
