Hi Brian! Thanks for th response. Childcareinibiza is a trustworthy company then?
KidsinIbiza have quoted me almost 1000 euros and I think that's pretty absurd to take care a of few children while thier parents are 15 meters away. I'm getting so tired of everyone trying to rip me off as soon as they see the word '"wedding"!!
Hello my name is Jessica and I have just got engaged, me are planning on getting married in two years in may, we are going out this may to have a look round. I still don't really know many of the prices, and the places to stay away from.... But the places we have short listed are : atzaro, exilir, pure vida and is it Cas mila in Cala longs? Really I would just like some encouragement that il be able to do it on my own, I'm very creative but as I do not speak Spanish am quiet in confident it can be done? I want a really chilled out catholic wedding with no fuss, obviously I am going in a few weeks but it's 2 years until I get married, do you recommend I go out a few weeks before or could I organise flowers etc when I go out? Thankyou as much info as possible pleaseeeeee x
Well just back from Ibiza and missing it already, weve decided on the venue....Elixir Thur 29th May 2014, the only date available that week, we were very lucky as someone had just cancelled. The venue is lovely and lots more improvements planned for this year too.
We looked at a few villas such as PDB and Can Coves but we decided against this idea as we didnt want the guest staying in the villa to feel like it wasnt special, nor a wedding as they would have already been there a few days before. PDB was lovely but it only holds really 70 guests tops and we have around 80 at the minute.
I forgot to take pictures of some of the venues but managed to take some of PDB and hotel hacienda if anyone would like me to send them to you?
Now to start planning everything else Vickki mentioned that she is updating her wish list/planning document so if anyone is waiting for this it should be with you in a few weeks. Vickki also informed me that we wouldnt start planning the actual wedding stuff until around April next year, so i told her i would probably start looking at stuff seperate prior to this so it might be that Vickki wont have much extra to organise for me.
If you have any questions please msg me and i will try and help you x
I am using Smack for my make up - i think Smack and Belissima seem to be the 2 most popular ones...
Does anyone who have any recommendations of somewhere I can get Gel / Acrylic nails done out there? - I am out for 5 weeks inn total - 3 weeks before the wedding so want to get my nails done out there rather than in England before I go?
I'm also getting married in Ibiza on 29th May 2014! Ibiza date twins! How exciting it will soon come around! I'm already planning everything! Elixir looks lovely too!
Thank you. Can you tell me a bit about what she does? Does she just play during the party/dj set or is she suitable for ceremony and/or reception drinks too?
Oh wow how exciting - where are you getting married??? What have you planned so far? I have just paid my deposit so its all confirmed. When are you planning on sending your save the dates/invites???xx
We too are getting married in Cas Mila. August this year.
I have seen the message on here somewhere before, would anyone be kind enough to email me some more pictures of the venue? ****************@*******.**.**??
Has anyone stayed at Serenis Seaview before? Whats your opinions? They have thrown a free room in and champagne for the wedding day for us.
Has anybody tried Candi's children entertainer option?
I am in the process of booking the minister/blesser for our ceremony next year and really cant decide on either Paul (spiritual blesser) or Terry (Anglican minister). Has anyone used either of them? What were they like, how was the ceremony? Thanks xx
Me too Miss G, i would like to know where is best to get nails done also. i have asked around but the recommendations they charge 50euros for nails :-( which is way too expensive for me
Hello everybody, we are going out to ibiza in 3 weeks to have a look at venues, I don't really know how to go about it though, do we just turn up and ask to speak to someone regarding weddings or do I need to prior book a meeting... I've already spoke to vikki from Elixir so we are going to have a look there... Does anybody also know what needs to be done over here before we get married in regards to a catholic wedding in ibiza? Also has anybody ever thought or looked at venues on the island of Formentera? Thank you. I'm pretty knew to all this xxxxxx
Just joined hitched as in early stages of planning our wedding next year in Ibiza! (after 6 years engaged ☹️)
We are going to see Cas Mila in a few weeks, my only reserved thoughts is about the busy beach. Anyone who has been married there can you tell me if it makes a difference to the day? Also does any past brides have any photos of the reception area/dance floor or of their weddings hald at Casa Mila they would like to share with me?
Also is the food good?
I have my perfect date reserves with them but if someone who views before me wants to book then Im going to have to make a decision before I get out there.
Hi J's other half, I got married at Cas Mila last July and had an amazing day. Honestly you don't notice how busy the beach is and by the time you go downstairs to the beachside part of Cas Mila for your aperitifs and sangria and photo's there are so few people on the beach by this time. Send me your email address, and I will send you some pictures (I have lots lol).
Would you mind sending me some pics of Cas Mila too? I've booked my wedding there for September 2014. We haven't seen it yet but are going over on 28th June this year.
So who else is a June 2013 Ibiza Bride?! - I cant believe it is only 1 month away now! -I am getting so excited and just finalising all the little details now... booked up all my beauty appointments... and have my last dressing fitting at the end of the month!
Just trying to plan some nice meals out now for aftre the wedding... "honeymoon" time!
Me too! I'm at elixir on 2nd June, cannot believe how quick it has come round it's crazy! So excited it doesn't feel real yet but sure it will when we arrive in Ibiza! Got a couple of little bits to sort but nothing major. Good luck to any other brides who's day is getting closer! X
I'm Nick, I'm getting married this June in Ibiza too at El Chiringuito, can’t wait it's gonna be amazing!! And to celebrate in style I am going to be over there for 5 weeks this year.
I'm also a wedding photographer… I am based in London but after this summer I'm planning to trade the rain of the UK for the sunshine of Ibiza so I am currently taking bookings for wedding photography on the White Isle for April 2014 and onwards. My website is below, take a look and feel free to get in touch with any questions you have or if you would like to see some of my albums and work. We could arrange to meet up and discuss options and packages that I can offer.
I also work in TV and along with my photography packages, as of next year I will also be offering videography as well. So if this is something you would like more information on then get in touch.
Any June or July 2013 brides – if you haven’t already got a photographer and would like to have some wedding photos of your big day then please be in contact as for the 5 weeks I am there this year I am offering my services for free!!!
I am elixir bride booked for sep 10th i just wondered if anyone could offer me some advise on the following- i would be really grateful
How are your guests travelling to and from venue? are you paying for them to do this?
Can anyone recommend a place to have a nice meal a few nights before, perhaps watching the sunset but that is child/baby friendly (just a couple)
Can anyone recommend somewhere that I can suggest that the groom etc alll meet up for a drink on the day as i will want to kick them out of our villa pretty early. We will be 10 minutes outside san ant and many of our guest are staying in san ant and surrounding areas.
I am also an Elixir Bride - September 6th! How exciting, I cannot wait. Are you taking any extras to decorate Elixir? How many guests have you got?
We have used a company called WBW. The lady called Sylvia has been very helpful. We have booked and pay for transport from the Church to Elixir and then one drop off from Elixir to PDB at 2.00am. We have asked people to make thier own way to the Church and if anybody wishes to leave earlier than 2.00am then they will have to make and pay for their own way home. We did consider asking our guests to contribute towards the transport but considering they have travelled from the UK, we thought it might be a little cheeky and just decided to pay for it ourselves.
