Planning a wedding in Ibiza

Hi Everyone!

In Ibiza now 2 weeks until the big day.... Its 30 degrees way hotter than I thought it would be!! Think I will melt in my dress!

Had makeup trial with Sara from smack she was brilliant totally recommend her!

we have had to change our day slightly due to the music at El Chiringuito having to e quiet at 11 so now our ceremony will be at 2.30 to fit it all in!

Lost another pound this week and my fiancé has lost another 2 pounds..... Still on the Juice Plus shakes keeping our skin nice and glowing too! Amazing supplement!

Had to look back to remember but this is what I found pasted below. The quality and the way they arrived all individually packaged was amazing and we worked with her to make the changes, even sending her the bridesmaids dress straps to match the colour. Lovely lady and everyone has kept theirs saying it was the perfect destination invite

For 80 bespoke airline ticket-style invitations with wallet, & RSVP luggage tag and envelopes for the wedding invitation and the RSVP tags it would probably cost about £3 per invitation, so £240 in total + delivery. I try to work to accommodate a client's budget wherever possible, so if it's something you would like to take further, I would work with you to meet your requirements. Each invitation is designed specifically for each client and I try to incorporate details of your day into the design to make it special to you and your day.

Ibiza forecast for 28 June is 25 Degrees, clear sky, 0% chance of rain and a light breeze... perfect!!

Not long to go now!! Just topping my tan up nicely, running 6k in the mornings and keeping up with my Juice Plus shakes to stop my IBS flaring up and to keep my stress levels at a minimum!... makes a lovely refreshing lunch out here!

Hubby to be has now reached his target too... 1 stone and 4 pounds weight loss in 5 weeks

I have booked Cas Mila, through Candi, our wedding is next Saturday we fly out tomorrow & meet Candi on Tuesday. I know she has been really busy, made me panic a little last week but my fiancée called her & she did explain & replied to my email as soon as she could. It might be worth giving her a call though for her peace of mind.

Oh no It was last year I ordered... I was one of the first and I did notice on her site that lots of people had enquired after so perhaps she's so busy now she feels she can afford to put her prices up? Sad though as she was so lovely and they are so good... hopefully she's not losing that touch as they are so in demand now! Perhaps you can negotiate...

anyone who has got married in casa mila, did anyone have an open bar? was it worth it. i don't know whether to just have a set budget for drinks or have the open bar.

Sorry for the delay, our AMAZING photographer Nicola from Daffodil Waves has blogged our wedding so there's plenty of pics on there - https://www.daffodilwaves.co.uk/blog/ibiza-wedding-elixir-shore-club-heather-ste My Dress was Lace and Tulle, absolutely fine in the heat as although it's quite full it's light as it's Tulle and not silk. It's by Annasul/Lusan Mandongous. I booked transport via Vickki at Elixir. It was 350 Euros for 2 x 16 seater minibus just at the end of the night, guests made their own way there.

We started at 4.30pm with a 5.00pm ceremony, I'm not aware of an earlier option but if there is one now then I'd def take it, the day went so so fast I can't stress enough how important it is to take it all in and appreciate every single part of the day! It flew by!

We also had a Video done by Giacomo at Ana Lui Studio so I will post that when it's ready!

Hi everyone iv just about finished my own boarding pass invites! Just thought id give you all a flash of them! they have taken me ages to do but pleased with how they look! If anyone is interested I'm thinking of making these for others so pm me and I'll try and work out the costs etc. They have been dome on ivory pearl card in my vintage travel theme.

No probs Rachel, we paid 1500 euros for 6 hours filming 4pm - 10pm so he captured everything up until the first dance.

The cheapest option is 1000E for 4 hours filming or upto 2000E for 8 hours.

Its a lot of money but now my day is over I'm so glad we did, if you look on Vimeo at his other videos you'll see the quality. Personally I think photo's and video are worth paying extra for, it's all you have after the day. We opted for a smaller cake (that no one ate!) to increase the budget on photo's/video.

Hope that helps! I booked through Ana Lui who was lovely, then you have to send 5 songs of your choice as MP3 which they use as your video music.

Thanks Heather! I thought it would be around that much as I went to get my wedding dress at the weekend & there was a videographer there whose prices were from £1200. I realised then with seeing his work that I have to have one. I think it's money well spent! x x x

You must be so excited for your wedding, not long now! We're actually over in Ibiza then, going on 28th so going to have a look at Cas Mila at some point as we booked it from recommendation and photos we'd seen so can't wait to see it for real! What time are you having your wedding at, we've been told 6pm but I'm worried our day will just go too quick (& I won't get to wear my wedding dress for that long, ha!)

We have finally put down the deposit on our chosen venue for 30th of June 2014! After seeing the Amante, the Elixir, Pura Vida, Cas Mila and Atzaro we have decided on the Elixir and we are so excited! Lots to organise but it will all be worth it in the end. Vickki and Alex were lovely and made us feel totally at ease from the moment we met them.

Amazing news! Isn't Vickki amazing? How she does it all I will never know!

Well I thought it was about time to write a post since my last post when I announced our decision to cancel our uk winter wedding and shoot off to Ibiza instead. We now have our villa booked (through Ibiza spotlight) and just starting to plan the actual wedding day.

Not long as our wedding day is set for 28th sept..... Just 3 months away.

we will be getting married at our villa as with such a short amount if time and restricted budget this is the best way to go. Beautiful 300year old converted Ibizan farmhouse in the rolling hills should be a great back drop for our intimate affair.

Will keep you posted on how it pulls together over the coming months

the reason i went for casa mila, was the views over cala tarida were beautiful plus you get the sunset there too :-) our wedding is at 6pm, and will go through till 2 am :-) sooooo excited. luckly i am having a big reception party at home 2 weeks after so will be wearing my dress again then lol
