Were having the hen party 2 days before the wedding, weve booked a couple of boats through https://www.boatsibiza.com/ theyve been really good and reasonable prices as the boats includes unlimited drinks x 26days to go
My hen is here in the UK. No idea when as im not being told anything. I assume in July. Carl cox will be a sort of hen I guess on the Tuesday night, we get married on the Thursday. x
Its cost us 890e for 2 boats for 3 hrs so we setting off from san an at 6.30pm sail for a while and head over to mambos to watch the sunset and then dock abour 9.30pm. the lads are doing an all day one with water sports and they are planning on stopping at a few bars on the coast, blue marlin one of those think its cost them approx 1200e but it nlcudes unlimited drinks x
Thats where i wanted mine! but my wedding is on a saturday and there only open friday, saturdays and sundays during may i thought! what dates are you doing?? xx
Not till next year but am going to have my hen there. Either boats or blue Marlin during day then dinner somewhere at night which the mums & aunts can come too - not sure where yet. Am getting married on a Sunday & will have hen prob the Thursday.
ive been a subscriber on here for a while but due to a failed back op we've had to reschedule our wedding twice! But 18 months on my dress is ordered and 2nd October this year is set in stone! It all feels real at last!!
Im really interested in the hen do boats, I've looked on their website and it says beer and wine included but champagne at own cost, do you know how much the cost is per bottle of cava? As we're heavy drinkers so I know we'd probably need to estimate this added cost in! Lol and so I'm right in saying your price works out to be €50/pp which is ridiculously cheap! (Not that that's a bad thing, their website looks really good) :-)
I'm having my hen night Sunday to Monday then getting married on the thursday 2nd October this year at Cas Mila! But having a full legal church ceremony beforehand.
Regarding the luxury BBQ package people have asked about, this is a sit down 2 course meal which is what I've opted for over a BBQ buffet style option. It's slightly more expensive. I'd be really interested if anyone has had this in 2013 as there are no photos of it anywhere and Candi herself or her photographer don't have any. We're real foodies so this is a major point of the day for us,
Also is it true that if we ship in our own dj you still have to pay for the DJ that's included in the package price? As it'll likely be just as much to hire the docks, lighting, sound, etc as it is to just have the DJ provided? Major house music tabs too!
lastly does anyone have any villas they can recommend for myself and my fiancé for the 2 weeks surrounding our wedding? We're currently looking on airbnb but a lot of the pools are shared, we just want something for the 2 of us, which is quite modern for me to have my getting ready photos taken at :-)))) plus have our own pool for a post-wedding, pre-departure goodbye BBQ for all of our guests ( we live in is so this is also pretty important!)
anyone that hat can offer advice on anything I've wrote please reply! Love to all my fellow Ibiza brides!! Xxxx
Thanks everyone
Dee :-)

Hi dee, we weren't given the option of a luxury BBQ package. I do know that all our food is brought to the table and not a Buffett the guests have to go help themselves to x
Hi everyone I'm pretty new to this I'm getting married in ibiza June 2017 long long way away I know was supposed to be June 2016 but another family member arranged there's for May 16 so to avoid bride wars I've rescheduled and it'll give us longer to save!! Does any one have any pictures of there wedding at cas mila and pura Veda as these are my 2 chosen venues I've looked at all those available on line. But it would be nice to see peoples normal pics not the ones they've used for advertising purposes
Hi, I am also getting married in Elixir next year and we are struggling with getting somewhere to stay. We are hoping to get a nice hotel which offers all inclusive and caters for families, groups and couples. Have you had any luck with hotels? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I think May will be a nice time to get married, not too hot. The sun will set around 9 in May.
Can any other brides help with Music - were sorting out a list to send over to the DJ but im not too sure how many songs we will need - how long did your music go on for? x
May is a great month for a wedding. We had a bad May (weather wise) a few years ago and that put a lot of wedding couples off, but they missed out because every May since then has been wonderful :-)
On a side note, there really is no need to worry about the weather - it really doesn't spoil the day and I can honestly say that the rainy Ibiza weddings that I've done have been some of the very best!!
Hello, I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I'm getting married at Cas mila on 26th of May 2015 and we've decided to stay in playa den bossa. We are wanting to stay at the Grand Palladium, we were all set to book the package holiday had come out on jet2 & thompsons, then all of a sudden it's gone, saying no availability.. So my friend who is a travel agent has rang jet2 to see what has happened... And they are saying the hotel has 'stopped sale' for May & June.. But some of our guests have booked the hotel, so it's open... I'm really confused , and the travel agents don't really know what's going on.... HELP!!!!!!
Hello, I have had a similar issue. Unable to book our hotel due to no availability however I did contact the hotel who stated that they would send me the rates as soon as they had confirmed them so this may be the case for Grand Palladium. Most hotels tend not to release rates until under 12 months, sometimes even less than 10. So I think we may all just be a wee bit too early for them lol!
Fingers crossed we get info soon as lots of people have been asking be about hotels and I've nowhere to direct them at the moment.
I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good place to buy plain cheap flips flops? I would like to have a basket of 20-30 pairs in a basket for guests to put on but I don't want to spend more than £2 a pair if i can help it.
Hi Anneke, have you tried Ebay or Amazon? Or have a look in the likes of Primark however everything will be "full price" and may go on sale come end of summer if you're wedding is next year and you have time to wait? xx
