Planning a wedding in Ibiza

Hi Nikki,

We had our own photographer a family member who is wedding photographer so we were very lucky there!

I upgraded to the white rolls royce car which was lovely!

We saw the new venue cotton beach looks nice but caused us no problems on the day with noise etc that was all coming from us ha! Cas mila is still gorgeous and the tapas area has been updated and was lovely too!

We had the birdcages on tables as per package and i brought some hessian runners and table names etc over myself as well as a throw away camera and photo booth packs one for each table they went down really well!

BBQ option everyone loved it! plenty of food to go around and tasted gorgeous!

Cupcakes were nice didnt get to try one though to busy dancing!

We had the sweet table but again i didnt sample or even see it really on the night!

We had a bar tab and had a sigh saying free wine beer and soft drinks to make it last!

How did you find finishing up at 2am? We have 90 guests and I don't think many of them will want to go at 2....

yes it was fab finishing at two was cutting the night short a bit and we could of easily partied on for a lot longer!! Most guests had drank a lot by then and some ready to go home but a lot of guests went out to some clubs after the coach dropped them off at hotel!

The photo booth packs were just ones I picked up from a shop but think u can add on a photo booth as a extra?

My friend/hairdresser did all the hair and our makeup was done by two girls my bridesmaid sorted it out il find out who they were and let you know they were both mac makeup artists

we had Sean do the ceremony he was really lovely!

Hi Love-In-Ibiza,

I gave the girls at my wedding at Amante pashminas as favours. I knew it would get cooler at night being right by the sea. I wasn't sure they'd even use them, but surprisingly nobody really thought to bring something incase it got colder at night! I had rolled them and tied them with ribbon, and the staff at Amante went round handing them to the ladies as the meal was ending.

I really liked when I got my photos back, seeing the same pashmina on all the ladies in the background through the night!

7 weeks 5 days until ours at Cas Mila - our guests are also staying all over the island o don't know what to do about home time!!

Suits - my hubby to be got his from Reiss - their summer suits aren't lined so they are really nice to wear they also tailor them to fit perfectly Also don't forget that your man will have hand luggage so he can carry his suit onto the plane to minimise creasing.

Favours - I think were going for a little goody bag of stuff, a keep sake, a straw (simply because I like stripey straws ha), a liquor of some description. We'll also have some other bits on the table to get people talking to each other - we have 90 guests and I want them all to mix

It's all getting very exciting!! xx

Wow, didn't realise I've got 8 weeks today to go!! Getting married in Casa Mila, can't wait! it's so exciting! My sister makes jewellery so we're giving everyone a bracelet for the wedding as favours!

Evissia Bride I'm 8 weeks today 31st July. Its all coming round quickly now. x

It was in the October. I took over an old wooden cigar box and bought cheap cigars over there to fill it with. So I suppose the guy's favour was a cigar! All our guests stayed in the same place as us so I gave everyone a welcome bag with they arrived. It had beer, wine, soft drinks and water for their apartments.

How exciting it is all coming round very very quick - I love hearing everybodies ideas Are you all set? I'm off shopping this evening to get the rest of the men's stuff and then I can concentrate on me! I try my dress on this Saturday which is exciting but making me a little anxious haha

Are people taking lots of decoration? What are you all doing for a card holders?

Yes very exciting! I 'think' were all set, have a few more gifts and things like that to get. I had my first dress fitting last Saturday, was very surreal to be standing in my actual dress.

We're sending over a few bits for decoration, need to get it all boxed up actually.

Are you using the photographer in the package? have you added any extras? were having the fire dancers. x

How exciting about your dresses! i havent found one yet! i did but changed my mind!! so now really struggling to find one, anyone recommend any designers?

i haven't decided about the favors yet, i was going to buy fans anyway to have on seats for ceremony anyway and mints in confetti cones on each table but not sure if its better to give individually as favours. i wanted to have maybe a little shot of something for everyone but Candi only offers one specific drink for the men!

we are going for gypsy for our photography even though there was one in our package but we will pay the extra as i love gypsys work.

My designer is Jenny Packham, she has beautiful dresses but depends on your budget and your style.

Ive bought fans for the seats and then done favour bags with scratch cards, sweets and a little candle.

I'm sending out more bits to decorate the tables, also hanging things and chalk boards.

We are having Anne to do our picture (incl in package) but have booked Ana Lui's team to do our video. x

I got the men the hierbas favors from candi but made my own luggage label tags for them and the men seemed happy enough with them!

My dress was Sophia Tolli and men's suits m and s both travelled well and borrowed irons from hotel for a deposit to steam my dress and veil and suits on the day!

I haven't added any extras yet probably too late now. I really want a sax player defo will be too late for Lisa haha I'm so unorganised. I just need to get this dress fitting out of the way - I'm not sure if I like it anymore

You have plenty of time to find your dress our goody bags are little bags just with bits and bobs that will remind people of us - we're thinking of putting a shot glass in as well but they are a little expensive to get them personalised I may just get some with I Ibiza on!

The card holder - for people to put their wedding cards in - I've been looking at other brides from Cas Mila and people have had vintage suitcases, post boxes etc - I'm going to have to get something over there though as I don't have the room in my cases! x

We are sending out a small picnic like hamper for our cards.

Hello everyone

we had our wedding on sat 31st may! The only rainy day so far of the year :-( I was delayed getting to the venue as they thought it would hold off but instead it showered and got worse. The team done such a good job in getting everything inside and making it beautiful for is. Although I was deco stated the guests thought it was gorgeous and my husband said it felt more intimate and actually preferred it. Not sure whether he said that to lift my spirits!!

After the ceremony the weather had stopped and we had a lovely rainbow and managed to dance and cut the cake outside and have the fire show! We had such a memorable day and the veg day of our lives even though it didn't completely go to plan!

Anne me walker was amazing she guided me through every step of the day and was such a pleasure!

Michelle lord and her team are incredible , Michelle has that sort of presence which makes you feel like you have known her for years! My hair and make up were lovely (even though I probably cried a lot of it off) and my bridesmaids looked stunning!

We didnt get the weather/ beach pictures or the sunset but the day was just as beautiful.

food was amazing too

everyone has commented how gorgeous the venue is and how much they want to get married there! Or go again!

Dont nut be put off by the weather as it's your day and will end up special no matter what xxx
