It was cas mila, we are lucky that they had alternative options! I can imagine one of the beach places would have been screwed!
there are some on my Facebook if you want to add and have a look Natalie Light otherwise I get the professional pics in a month. Yes it's a shame it didn't work out but it was very nice and still I got to have an amazing wedding in Ibiza that everyone will remember
Ibiza1 - thank you for sharing your photos - everything looked gorgeous! Congratulations :-)
Linz - we have gone for the luxury package so I think the Prolighting is included. I'm heading to Ibiza for three nights this year so I can have another look at the venue and ask Candi a million questions in person!
Ibiza1 - did you hire Cas Mila exclusively? Did you have the BBQ or three course meal? We are hoping to have around 90 guests so we will have the whole venue to ourselves. How was the beach bar downstairs for cocktail hour? Was the beach still quite busy at that time? Candi mentioned we could do cocktail hour upstairs in the restaurant if we wanted, so I'm not sure whether to do that or the beach bar. Also, it sounds like everyone was partying right until the end at your wedding! So was the music still quite loud after midnight? Did everyone move inside to the dancefloor at that stage?
Just back from Ibiza and viewed Elixir, Cas Mila and Cotton Beach club, all really lovely but I think we are going to go for Elixir. I think a few of you have received the bible for 2015, I would really appreciate it if you could send me a copy to *******@*******.*** as just trying to work out the total price!!
Hi there, pleased you found what you were looking for - I am also getting married in Elixir next year, knew it was the place for us the moment we arrived! I've emailed the details over to you - really useful info in there! x
That's strange! I've just re-sent, it might also be worth checking your junk mail as both have sent! Let me know if you don't receive it and I'll send to an alternative email address maybe? x
Hi rachel, please could you send the details to me aswell my email is *************@*******.***
i had originally booked my wedding for this August but due to circumstances we have had to put it back to next year now, me n my fiancé fell in love in Ibiza so we would really like to have our wedding there, I did look at a few places last year but it was early season and not much was open then we had to rearrange our date to 2015...
any info anyone has on any venues & things please could you email over to me, much appreciated. thank you
Still nothing Rachel, maybe there is something wrong with that email account, could you try ***************@*******.***? Sorry for putting you out! Thanks a mill x
we didn't go for the pro lighting package as we wanted other extras such as the candy table and fire dancers don't think it would offer much difference to the party part if the wedding
we had the BBQ package which was lovely everyone had plenty of food served with big potato wedges and salad
we had 50 guests so didn't have exclusivity of venue but to be honest didn't really notice any other diners on the night they were probably there but didn't make any difference to us
The beach bar downstairs was really good it's been done out so looks really nice and was a good oppertunity to go on the beach for the beach shots! By the time we did those it must of been after 7 so not many people on the beach!
Really struggling to find a matching waistcoat and trousers for my H2B that is beige and not completely made of linen (will crease awfully!) - also, the only nice waistcoat we have seen has a baby blue satin back which doesn't match the colour scheme and probably isn't supposed to be worn without a jacket - I want one that is beige all round ideally...help! I have tried all the major department stores in London and had a look online but when companies make lighter-weight suits, they just seem to miss out the waistcoat.
Other thing - those who are having blessings (we have booked Hedley Paul who is lovely), have you stuck to the standard ceremony or made changes to it/added readings etc? Paul's ceremony is beautiful but don't know if it's me being lazy to just go with it or have so many other things to organise, I can't think of what else it might need?? Does it need anything else?
Has anyone found any nice bridesmaid dresses? I am struggling! I did like the Twobirds dresses (wrap dresses) but they are £250 each! The Dessy wrap dresse are similar and only around £150 i think but don't have any colours im keen on!
I originally wanted either rosewater (duskypink) but i do want quite neutral so if i found nice white/ivory bridesmiad dresses i may even go with them?
This is my flower girl dress https://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_248020204285_-1
Yeah all is going well, just packing all my decorations etc up to send out to her. Wondering the best way to do this? might just take it all to the post office and do it by royal mail. x
Hi Leanne - have you seen the white Ibiza wedding guide? There is a ton of information in it with lists and pictures of venues, make up people, flower, cakes, transportation etc! You can download it from http://www.white-ibiza.com. The website in itself has loads of information as well on all the latest venues.
If you need help, let me know. We are living on the island now after our wedding - decided to stay!
Hi girls! Just wondering if anyone used a saxaphone player for their wedding in Ibiza? If so who did u use? I have a quote from 'lovely laura' but it does seem quite pricey just for a hours play!
9 weeks away now from our wedding at Elixir and am starting to think about how we get the large amount of Euros we need to take to pay the venue, suppliers etc with us through the airport. Does anyone know if we have to declare the money at the airport and if so how we go about doing so?
Ooo, you must be just before me Gibby55 - mine is just over 10 weeks to go at Elixir, so exciting!! Still haven't had my first dress fitting yet...hope it's ok!!
We're also taking cash and think the limit is under £10k per person (although I don't want to be carrying that much myself!) without declaring it and suppose you can use large note denominations (£200 and £500 notes) so you don't have a lot to carry...I was envisaging suspicious briefcases!! I'm going to check with Vickki that she accepts those. Any advice from anyone else would be good for this.
Brides who sent over things in advance (decor/favours etc) - what courier did you use and how expensive was it?
Hi we're taking the cash out ourselves and will split it between me and my partner. I used a couriers (UPS) to send my stuff over. It took about 5 working days and cost £187 for 14.5kgs. That was with then packing it all up for me as well. X
Are you guys the first week in September? We are August 28th so we are just before you. Am very excited! I've tried my dress on a few times now but not having an actual fitting until 6 weeks before, which isn't that far away now so need to get myself back in the gym.
I didn't think of that about the larger note denominations, that would certainly help a lot as don't want to be taking large amounts of notes with us. If you hear back from Vickki can you please let me know?
Taking cash is the only way to get around the huge VAT charges which have to be slapped on.
We aren't sending out anything in advance as all decorations are being dealt with by Leah/Vickki, and we decided against favours in the end, especially with the amount of money the wedding is costing haha.
We have done scratch cards and little shots if sambucca in 'message in a bottle' bottles. Think as a lot of people have paid so much to get there I felt we had to do something. Have you all got many guests? X
