We've found the same and I have looked into having a UK photographer fly over and we get longer time with him forthe same or a little less money, My wedding is actually the day before yours i think - 12th september - so if it is something you're stuck on, let me know as it might work out even cheaper to have the same photographer as he could get two bookings. Not suyre if it works like that but worth looking into if you are interested
We have around 80 guests. Yes we have gone for the Pro Lighting Package, Fire dancers, small cake as well as cupcakes to cut, we've also booked Ana Lui's video team to film the day for us. x
Sounds amazing cazza01, I still haven't decided what to have, although I have booked Ana Lui also and I think I'm gonna have the candy table instead of the lemon sorbet desserts. Are you sticking with the photographer in the package? Also which video package did you go for? (hope you don't mind all the questions) Thanks xx
I would definitely consider this option , I'm sure if he/she got two booking a it would be cheaper. Are you Elixir ? Have you got much organised ? We have only the venue so far. We are going over next month .
Yeah I am the same as Cazza, the ceremony here is for family only, most of which won't be making it to Ibiza. We plan to go to a pub after for some food & drinks - nothing boozy or fancy.
we see ibiza as our "real" wedding and plan to stay there after for our honeymoon.Xx
We also had our legal day 4 days before ibiza and to be honest it was good to get some of the nerves out of the way and was a bit like a practice run for the ibiza wedding!
Emerald if you search my posts there's some pics of my wedding on here at cas mila
we kept the lemon sorbet dessert and had the candy table for the party bit and the lemon sorbet was lovely
Lovely Laura was playing for around an hour which was enough time to get photos, see her play and have some sangria and tapas she is fab!
I had my own bouquet which i made so it was in the car with me and had it down the aisle then the chief bridesmaid took it and gave it me back after the ceremony to walk back down the aisle with
The extras i had was the candy table, lovely laura, fire dancers, spanish guitar, cake for the top of the cupcakes, welcome cocktails, love in lights, bar tab and
Hi, has anyone heard from Candi recently? I emailed her with some queries a week and a half ago and haven't had a response. I know it's busy wedding season but she's usually quite quick to reply??
27th aug at cas mila. Suddenly thinking I should try and book some transport for my guests to get home so wanted to know prices ect. Hope I haven't left it too late! Has anyone else booked transport? I have 25 guests and there should only be three drop offs.
Ibiza Rocks, I get married at Cas Mila on the 25th August! I am so excited!
We have 40 guest and have booked one coach to take to the venue and return home at 2am with 2 drop offs. Candi quoted around 460 euros.
Also I have emailed Candi questions and haven't heard from her for 2 weeks and we fly out in 4 weeks, frustrating, however, i think it is just the high season and is busy.
That's really helpful, thank u. Do you by any chance know what your coach company is? And I know this sounds weird but are you and your groom traveling in the coach back with everyone?
Yeah hopefully hear from Candi soon, it is frustrating!
We have booked just return as our guests will be getting their own taxis to Cas Mila, itas 208euro to san an and 416euro to Playa Den Bossa.
Me and the groom will be going back to Playa Den bossa with everyone as that's where our hotel is, we are then going to get changed and go to ENTER at Space.x
Unfortunately I don't Candi has arranged it all for me so I don't know who it through.
Well we wasn't going to at first but it you want a chauffeur driven car at 2am it would 175euros! this is what we got quoted by candi and I thought that was ridiculous really so we are going back with everyone on the coach.
We did ask candi about us just getting a taxi back and she told me this was near impossible to get a taxi at 2am!! i don't believe this for a second if i'm honest! ha!
We were told it would be more of a problem getting taxis from Cas mila due to the location. Its not in a busy resort so each one would have to be booked. As we have over 80 guests it would have been a nightmare, so we have just booked and paid for the coaches.
Not sure on the company as Candi arranged it all.x
Yeah, we had already booked the coaches for all the guests. The taxi was literally just for us 2, I don't think it would have been a major problem to book one taxi for 2am, again I didn't believe that this was near impossible.
However, we are going ont he coach now with everyone else and it will be fun to be with the rest of the guests.
We are having our registry office ceremony a few weeks before we fly out to Ibiza with just two witnesses and no fuss at all, then Ibiza will be the main event and the date which we will celebrate our anniversary.
Question for brides having blessings at the venues (Elixir, Cas Mila etc) - are you making/printing an 'order of service' for each guest?
We decided to do an order of service with a twist - I had these printed and made them into a fan to keep our guests cool. Really simple to do, just added card in the middle to strengthen, a wooden lollypop stick and voila!! We have 53 guests & I've made 30 fans, I figured the fella's probably won't be bothered about fanning themselves!! xx
We went over in May this year and booked our venue - we are getting married at Pura Vida in Santa Eulalia. We love the town and the venue was absolutely perfect for us, we're so excited!
We sent our invites out two weeks ago as wanted to give people as much notice as possible, and we've booked our flights and accommodation and our guests have started booking and RSVP'ing via our website too, which is really exciting!
Other than that, we have lots to organise! We were hoping to go back in September this year (the wedding day for next year) to do the taster and confirm the menu, but flight prices are going up and up so we may have to wait until next May to go over, which is pretty rubbish...we shall see!
Photographer and celebrant are next on our lists to get ticked off, as well as making a decision on what to do re music. We'd love love love a DJ but it's just so expensive, as all additional services seem to be, so we've got to look into that. But photographer is top of the list for now! I've contacted the person who has quoted us and told him that there is another couple getting married the day after to see if he would be able to split his location cost, if so, i can pass his details on if you'd like? He has recently come back from capturing a wedding in Ibiza and the photo's look so beautiful, I'd have no concerns whatsoever
I would 100% like to see his work and details my email is ******.********@*******.**.**
We are considering. Paul Headley for celebrant got good reports
Its so exciting your much further on than me lol it's the flights and accommodation that's proving the hard part forms flying from Ireland. Trying to look at Hotels and Villas to see what's best.
