We're actually getting married at Pura Vida, so we have based ourselves and our guests in this area. We really love it and think it is perfect for everyone with good transport links to Eivissa/PdB etc too.
We have picked a really nice 4* hotel to stay in and my parents will be staying with us. We've said that anyone who wants to join us is more than welcome to and we have also recommended two other hotels which are nearby to our guests, so they have options depending on their budgets.
We did originally want everyone to stay together, but what we wanted did not match up with what was suitable for others, so we decided to keep everyone close together across two/three hotels.
The accommodation etc has been the most stressful part of it all, but I just made the website really clear with options and people have sorted themselves out
I'd suggest finding a hotel you like in an area you love and starting from there!
I also would like to know if anyone has had a saxaphone player and at what time? we have currently got laura booked for 7pm as casa mila, so after ceremony.
has anyone been able to get any nice white fans from anywhere? i have found some on ebay cheap but they have some gold on! help!!
Candi has a free standing easel which is what i am using. I have made my own board using cork and wrapped this in hessian so i can pin luggage tags to it with the names on and a few other decorations to go with my travel theme.
Sorry Nicki, I did get your email but i don't have a picture of my fans. I will take one thoguh asap and reply to your email with the pictuire.
Hi Everyone, sorry for my late reply - had my hen do over the weekend and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! Life drawing and cocktail making in Bournemouth, just about recovering now!!
Helen - your order of service fans look so good, I'd already bought normal fans (from a stall in Soho) but this is a great way to combine two things. I'd seen a similar idea before but was worried about transporting everything over to Ibiza (already have the favours for 80 guests, fans, gifts, decorations and centrepieces to take over in addition to 3 weeks' worth of clothes and most importantly the dress!) Definitely going to have to lean on family members for luggage space!!
Sian123, I would say get in touch with a celebrant asap as they get booked up way ahead of time. Hedley Paul's ceremony is absolutely gorgeous!
OriginalGamble, try http://www.nataliebethharris.com/ for a photographer, I don't think she's as well known as the others but her photos are just as stunning and will be photographing our wedding in September.
Where are you getting married? We have a whole street of 10 identical 4 bedroom villas which each sleep up to 10 people (so potentially 100 people can all stay next door each other!) They're in Cala Vadella so fairly close to Cas Mila, Cotton Beach, Elixir etc.
We also have villas next door to each other in Santa Eulalia that sleep in total 32 guests.
We have villas to suit all budgets so get in touch if you want any pictures or more info.
We've only just started taking bookings for next year too so lots of availability for things now.
The street of 10sounds perfect for us. We're getting married in Elixir in August 2015.
We have 80-100 guests so it sounds like a good option, could you send me further details of these and other available villas please? We'd ideally like beach access or a short walk to the beach.
thanks so much, my email address is: *************@*******.***
Hi Im new to this forum but have been reading it with interest!!
Im getting married at Cas Mila August 2015 and wondered what everyone had done about accomodation. We have booked the Sensatori in Cala Tarida and have left guests to sort their own accomadation out. Is this what everyone else has done or have you done it for them? The Sensatori is quite expensive so I dont think many guests will be staying there??
And one more question - Do any of you have plans to arrange things next day if you are all staying at different accomadation - If so what are you up to??
Can I please ask? Does anyone know if you're allowed sparklers in Ibiza? Can you buy them or would I have to take them in my suitcase and is that even allowed?
Hi im really undecided about weather to have Ann in the package at Casa Mila for photography or to go with Gypsy, i think if we go with gypsy we will go with her assistant has anyone had either of these photographers??
Hi there! How are you?? How's the planning going??
I just saw your post on the "Planning a wedding in Ibiza" thread about needing a videographer and would love to recommend the couple who filmed ours a couple of months ago!
His name is Adam Galwas and is just great, his girlfriend helps to film so it's nice being in the company of a couple rather than a lone bloke lol! He does gorgeous videos and has an offer on at the minute for destination weddings, so it's worth getting in touch with him about that!
