Hi Bekki - re. why noone is coming back to you is probably because it's off season on ibiza at the moment and people are taking a break from the busy summer season. Give it a bit and I'm sure people will respond as soon as they can.

Re. recommendations, for our transport we wanted to go hippie style so we rented a veedub. She picked u up and drove us to wherever we wanted including to take pics after the ceremony. www.vintagebus4rentibiza.com. For beautiful wedding cakes, I highly recommend Mitch the Cake Lady. I think you'll find her on Facebook.

A lot of Ibiza people are on Facebook by the way - so that might be another way of finding people and things.

Good luck and let me know if I can help with anything further. After marrying on this beautiful isle, we stayed and know our way around a bit now!

    xx

Can anybody recommend a tog in Ibiza that's not the standard Ana Lui, Gypsy Westwood, etc?

I'm working with a limited budget so I can't afford to pay €2k on photographs, but I'd still like some nice shots of the day.

Thanks for your help in advance ladies Smiley smile x

Hi Little Girl Red! I would maybe try Ann Walker from Ibiza Photography. She is cheaper than Gypsy and Ana Lui.

    Hi Nikki,

I am currently emailing Candi to book my wedding for July 2016 at cas mila. I don't want to bother her too much but I would like an idea of the breakdown in costs for the package she has offered. It is the luxury package for 50 guests at €8250 exclusive of vat. I'm not sure if this is reasonable or not. I have emailed Cardamom events and also Amante which both seem more expensive (they provide a breakdown however some details aren't clear and they add on service charges etc)

Any advice you could give me would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi all ,

Anyone booked Lovely Laura and Ben for theirWedding 2015 ?

I'm dealing with Admin (Nick) and he said he will invoice us closer to the time, anyone else had this, he said the date is 100% but maybe I'm just being over cautious lol ?

I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. He asked me for deposit payment so that the date could be confirmed (but perhaps that's because it's a busier week as it's the bank holiday)

Hope all of your planning is going well...bridesmaid dresses is next on my list!

Hi all, we got married on the island last year and fell in love with Ibiza so much so that we have moved here. In any case, if you have questions, let me know!

I wouldn't worry about people not responding right away. People on Ibiza work very hard in the summer and the winter is their break which means sometimes they are away from their computer. Usually a deposit is asked to hold the date but the remainer usually isn't due until 6 weeks prior or the day itself. So no worries.

We used the usual people, After a long search for best quality versus quantity as in money, we opted for what we thought was the best. Ana for photography and video, smack for make up, the cake lady for our cake and vintagebus4rent for our transport (surprise for my partner as I didn't want to do regular stuff;-)).

    anyway, congrats all!

We are using Laura too for our wedding in June, we got involved quite quick & have paid the deposit. I'm sure it's all fine though if Adam has said the date is confirmed

    Hi girls

I'm dealing with Candi at the minute for our wedding at Cas mila in June

She said there is a discount if you pay by cash

Does anyone know what sort/amount of discount this is?

    Thanks Lucy x

Hi Lucy - I don't think its a discount so to speak, if you pay on card or bank transfer you have to pay an extra 10% tax or VAT on top (sorry I can't remember which it is) but if you pay in cash you don't pay this - you just pay the amount your due without the extra charge.

    I think that is right

    xx

    Hi everyone,

Weve booked Laura for May, we were invoiced & paid the deposit in October.

Does anyone have any recommendations for reasonable guest hair & makeup, I have been quoted €130 per person which my guests think too much.

Also how is everyone arranging decor for your venue? Our hotel said we can get stuff delivered there but not sure how much a courier from UK will cost!! Does anyone know any companies in Ibiza that hire out?

    Thanks

I had all our decor couriered straight to the venue and they kept it for us. Think it cost around £130. X

We are getting each other perfume/aftershave...small & easy to transport & will always remind us of our wedding day Smiley smile
I have a few questions for you ladies...
    1. Those of you who are sharing a villa/apartment with friends or family for your wedding will you stay there on your wedding night or go to a hotel?
    2. How early do I need to arrange my flowers? Still don't have bridesmaid dresses yet so not sure what I'm going to want.
    3. Anybody have any ideas on a cheap car..we are staying so close to the venue & I really begrudge paying £500+ for a ten minute journey.

    Thank you

RE your last question, we used vintage bus 4 rent and, if I remember correctly, it was priced at 350 euro to have my hubby and his best man be picked up in the morning so they could have some drinks, dropped off at venue for last minute decor and getting dressed. Then the vdub came back to pick me up with dad to make grand entrance Smiley smile.

cheers ladies - good luck with all the prep!

    Hi Beki,

we are also choosing a perfume/ aftershave for each other. We are sharing a villa with friends in the run up to the day but the night before the wedding I have booked a hotel for my bridesmaids & I and on our wedding night - my "husband" and I will stay there.

Am not doing a proper wedding car as its too much money - I am just going to book a chauffeur car to come get me.

Have no idea of gifts for my mum / mother in law yet as flowers will be wasted????

Sure - I've booked into the Marina palace our families & lots of friends are also staying here & it's at Port Des Torrent which isn't that far out of the way to Elixir. I've had to book for minimum of 3 nights but we are just using it for 2 but there are a range of room types

We booked a spa day with lunch for our mums at Atzaro for the Monday after the wedding as flowers would've been wasted. It was 120E for the two of them and they loved spending some quality time together (they live quite far apart in the UK) and reminiscing about the wedding day.
