Hi Victoria and Em! You must both be so excited that you have picked a venue!! I can't wait to decide it's driving me mad! Do either of you have a costing brochure for Elixir by any chance?
weve had a bit of bad luck absolutely hated the service from sensatori after we booked our date for 3 sep 2016 so we've now cancelled it. Heading out to ibiza next week to meet up with candi and have a look at some venues hoping we can get somewhere amazing for next year!!!
ive had some costings sent back from ME ibiza and cotton beach club does anyone have any recommendations or experience with these?
Also Candi was saying she has a new harbourside venue for 2016 which looks nice!!!
Hi this is my 1st post on here, me & my partner are wanting to get married abroad in August 2017 but I don't even know where to begin, can you book things for 2017 yet?
Can anyone help me that has booked their wedding at Cas Mila, I am trying to arrange transport back from the venue to our hotel for the guests and I am getting quoted between 350e to 400e for a 10-15 minute journey! Can any of you reccomend a coach company or were you able to arrange taxis??
I don't know if this will be of any help but we have a quote from this company.... http://m.ibizataxi.co.uk for airport transfers 60 euros for a minibus for a half an hour journey? Thought that was quite reasonable and they have 5 minibuses. Not sure how many guests you have but might be worth asking them what they can do!
We got back from Ibiza last week after having our wedding at Pura Vida.
We had such a great day and the food was absolutely amazing. For everyone who has booked their Ibiza wedding for the future, congratulations...I hope you enjoy your time as much as we did!
We had our guests' stay in Santa Eulalia and so many of them have loved it - with kids from 6 months old up to my husbands 85 year old Nan and everyone in between, I'd definitely recommend Santa Eulalia as a great base for your wedding in Ibiza We had people in 2/3/4* and private apartments and villas but we were all within 15 minutes walk of each other, it was perfect and many people have already started looking into a return visit!
If anyone has any general questions or specific ones re Pura Vida, please feel free to get in touch as am happy to help. Can't wait to go back for our 1 year anniversary!!
Anything you would recommend or not recommend? Did you have a lot of children at Pura Vida?what was the food like? Did you have to decorate the venue a lot

The food was amazing. I couldn't fault it at all and I'm quite fussy!
I've (tried) to insert an image of our menu. This was all served to the tables on platters, so no buffet/queuing which we were keen to avoid. The food was served to all of the tables at once, for example, all of the fish dishes were placed, then all of the meat etc. which avoided the dreaded 'last table' scenario. We received so many compliments on the food 'best food the whole holiday'...'best wedding meal we've ever had'...etc and there was just so much of it. It could have fed double the number of guests that we had! I was so gutted that i couldn't eat more, but the dress didn't have much give in it and i wouldn't have been able to dance. Was tempted to ask for a doggy bag to take away with me, it was just so good!
Re decorations, apparently people don't tend to do much with the venue, I think it's really pretty as it is, but we took over two hand luggage suitcases filled with bits for the tables. We had chalkboard table signs, photographs of people who weren't able to be with us, polaroid table seating plan, photo booth props, fans, instagram signs, menu's and table eye spy signs, table runners and all of the wedding favours. It's all the personal touches that I think really makes it your special day and I'm glad we did it. We also ordered jam jars of baby's breath to go down the middle of the tables which looked really pretty. Pura Vida were really helpful and set everything up on our behalf and it was done just as I'd envisioned.
I know most brides on here get married as Cas Mila or Elixir, and both are lovely venues, but I'd definitely say to go and have a look at Pura Vida if you want a beach front ceremony...we're so glad we did as it suited as perfectly but doesn't seem quite as well publicised on here as others are. Although, they did have a wedding the day before and day after we had ours on the 12th!
Re children, we had one under 6 months, two 1 year olds and a five year old. Bar the 6 month old, they all had children meals and they provided high chairs etc. as required.
That menu sounds so nice! I didn't know they did a bbq style meal! If you dont mind me asking how much was it per head? I'd prefer a bbq style meal to what they have shown me!
Your review has just made me so excited to get married there. Still have 2 years to wait though!
please can someone let me know which florist you use din ibiza and if they are good at taking direction of the kind of flowers you want? I am struggling to know which one to use and am concerned that being abroad i will just have to trust they will turn up on the day and look ok.
I used flowersibiza a.k.a el ramo de flores in Santa Eularia.
They were really excellent. They did exactly what I wanted, and their prices for floral centerpieces were very good. Much lower than some other quotes I got. They did some decoration for me at the venue too, they even put up some decor items I brought from home. I also go petals from them for throwing after the ceremony and they provided some baskets etc, They were very resourceful.
Hi - hope you had a fab wedding I believe it was September this year? Looking for some advice I'm looking into pura vida as a venue for my wedding in 2017 - what is it like? Do you have any pics you can send at all? What was included in your package? Love to hear more about your big day!
Thanks for your post. I'm just about to confirm a date at Cas Mila. I'm so anxious as Candi takes a few days to get back so I'm glad I saw your post saying to be patient. Can I ask if you had a day or late afternoon wedding as she has told me it will be at 6.30pm but I had my heart set on a day wedding. Is that standard for Ibiza to do late PM?
We started off the same! We knew Spain was the place for us... the weather, the food, and the vibe just make the place a perfect wedding location. We have found that beach clubs are a little too expensive and so we have decided on a venue wedding - we just love the traditional villas!! We are hoping that the photographer really gets the rustic feel into our pics! So excited haha
We are going for a very small villa in Ibiza called Paissa d'en Bernat. The offer their own catering (this saves us so much time and stress!!) and planning services. As we are so busy and distance can make us freak a bit, we have decided to have some help with the wedding planning as they are locals and have enough experience to handle it for us. Their website is www.paissadenbernat.com - let me say, the photos on their website do not make justice to the actual place. What ever you decide to do, and wherever, visit your venue! We went over to the island a saw a few and you need to find the one you both fall in love with!
Hi ladies! I've just come back from Ibiza about a month ago and I am STILL going through the blues. It doesn't help that today I keep seeing photos of sunny Es Vedra pop up on my Facebook feed... It's making me so envious, and I can't wait to be back there next summer
I'm planning my annual holiday to Ibiza for the end of September 2016. I'm a wedding photographer based in London, but I thought it was worth posting on here and saying I am available from 19th September for around 2 weeks in Ibiza, so if anyone was on the look out for a photographer, I'd be ****% up for it. I won't be charging any travel expenses from the UK obviously, as I'll be on the island anyway, and I'd be happy to do it a discount to my normal prices as it would tie in perfectly with my holiday. I've been dying to shoot a wedding in Ibiza for absolutely ages as I go away to the island fairly often and I'd be pretty thrilled if I could photograph a beautiful wedding while I'm over there.
I understand most people have wedding planners and the majority of them will already have recommended photographers that they will put forward, but if this sounds up anyone's street, my website is www.lauradebourdephotography.com and you can see my work and contact me from there.
We are getting married in May 2016 and we're really struggling to find entertainment for the evening. We wanted something different like a sax so have tried contacting lovely laura but I don't think she will be available. Does anyone have any other suggestions? For us its all about the party so we want an amazing dj and hopefully some other entertainment of some kind
It absolutely flew by and I can't wait for the pictures to try and
remember some of the moments.. everyone always says it goes too fast but
you don't realise until you are actually there..
