I'm a bit confused by this - Can Gall has been a popular wedding venue in Ibiza for many years :-)
We have a lot of Cas Mila and Elixir brides on this forum but those venues only represent a very specific 'package' segment of the British Ibiza Wedding market.
The planners know all of the pros and cons of each venue and lots of suppliers are happy to offer help, advice and recommendations so make sure you do your research before you get your heart set on a particular place as there are so many to choose from :-)
I'm getting married at cas Mila in august next year too I was also wondering if anyone knew who the photographer was that they used. We are also having the bbq, it all looks so lovely there. I think we might go for the flame throwers in the evening as it's a bit different. Have you booked anywhere to stay yet?
RomanticOrangeBride, I got married at Cas Mila on Saturday. Just got home! It was easily the best day of my life. I used the wedding planners photographer and she did some stunning shots. Silhouettes on the rocks, leaning on a little fence at sunset, she even let me and my bridesmaids paddle in the sea! She was very flexible to suggestions but also really knew what she was doing as she knows the venue well. Her name is Ann. I didn't meet her before the day but I enjoyed not having the stress of having to find a photographer myself!
The BBQ is served on a large platter in the middle of each table and you just help yourself. There was soooo much food, it was lovely! We didn't have time for entertainment. The wedding started at 6.30 (although I was fashionably late!) and then we had drinks, photos, BBQ, cut the cake and then it was already 10.45pm!
We took an iPod of acoustic songs for them to play during dinner which a number of people commented that they liked. Everyone inc the Dj was English which made things really easy (I was worrying about things being lost in translation!)
I can also highly recommend Kinga @ibiza hair and make up. She is so lovely and coped easily with my hair request and up do's for the 4 bridesmaids.
Thank you for this. I am getting married at Cas Mila in August 2017. Can I ask how much it was for the photographer? And also how much was the hairderesser?
Lizzie I'm getting married at elixir and we are using kids Ibiza which will be entertaining the children from 5-12pm! We are also having Grabo the saxophonist for our evening with the music he's really good.
Thank you!!! What are you having? I'm thinking a magician.... Wanted bouncy castle but adults will still have to watch their little ones!! Hope all goes well!!
Wow thank you!!! Even more excited now!! How did you do your table plan and things? Did you take them all over with you? I am deciding what to do and getting it over there.......
I'm thinking of a show but unsure what to do. I am upgrading with the video booth as I can imagine it will be hilarious to watch back!!
Well exciting.... Yes I would love to see your pics too if possible!!
Lozza11, I can't seem to find the price for the photographer but I know I paid an extra 200euros for her to come to the hotel to do prep pictures with me and the bridesmaids getting ready. Her website is
Mittletobe.....your photos look stunning! You all looked lovely and it's making me even more excited for mine next year! Did you book through ibiza wedding shop? I follow the photographer on Instagram and im assuming that's who they use. Did you get your makeup done with kinga too?
I can highly recommend Marc de Groot for photos and Hedley Paul Spargo for ceremony! I know most of the others too and they are all great - Ana Lui, Gypsy Westwood, Natalie Beth Harris, Maria Simon for photos and Melchior Arnold for ceremony....
Rose_tree yes I booked through Ibiza wedding shop and they were brilliant!
Kinga just did my hair as my sister is a beauty therapist and offered to do the make up. Kinga is amazing though and uses airbrushing which sounds brilliant!!
im booked for 1st July next year and struggling with what to do for accommodation as family and friends all have different tastes and budgets but would ideally like everyone together or at least close. Also what is everyone doing about staying with their fiance as obviously I wasn't planning on staying together the night before. Any advice and recommendations would be fab.
im getting married at Elixir this October we have booked to stay at the sensatori which is only 10 mins from the venue it is expensive but is all inclusive and we are making a holiday of it surprisingly lots of our friends and family are staying there too, some have decided to stay in the hotel next door insotel Cala tarida which is the sister hotel to sensatori but loads cheaper also all inclusive, there is also some apartments opposite which are very nice and you can book them for a few nights I think if you put in apartments Cala tarida they come up.
As for the night before I think I'm going to swap so my oh stays in a room with my cousins boyfriend and she stays with me then the boys will go for breakfast at 8am (as they have a barber coming to do their beards) and girls will go at 9
I have just booked my wedding September 2017 at Elixir Ibiza. So excited!

I'm hoping that one of you lovely brides could send me the Elixir wedding bible..... I keep reading about it so want a heads up on it before we go to Ibiza to choose our venue. ( email is *****.*******@*******.**.** )
After looking online I love the look of Cas Mila and Elixir but am now a bit put off by the start time of the ceremonies at Cas Mila as really want it around, 4ish at the latest. Does anyone know if there is any flexibility on times at Cas Mila??
I'm sure I'll be back with lots more questions as I'm not too sure how to go about planning my wedding ;-)
I have booked Elixir for July 2018, I have been reading a lot about the Elixir bible and was wondering whether someone could share it with me please (*******.**********@*******.**.**)
Had anyone booked with ibiza wedding shop for a wedding this year?
We booked in Feb last year for this August at cas mila. We had a original quote for 28a 8c. The price excluded Vat. They have now sent a updated 2017 planning brochure and they have changed the venue to a 30 adults minimum. I emailed them and said I was assuming that it wouldn't effect us as we had booked before they changed it. They said they would honour it but the party would now end at 1 instead of 2am.
The prices for 2017 have also change but now include vat. They have added on a 5% price increase too. I can't find anything that states there could be a price increase.
Has anyone booked with them and having the same thing? I'm not sure what to do really? Should I dispute the 5% price increase?
Hi sorry if this is a bit cheeky, just wondering if you have a rough guide for your wedding at elixir I've booked cas mila but just having slight doubts
I am just posting here to see if I can help anyone out. I'm a wedding photographer and I'm looking to build an international portfolio of weddings. I would love to hear from anyone who would like to take advantage of this. I would be offering deals and reduced pricing, or what ever we can work out so you don't have to settle for poor photography on your already costly day.
My Hitched profile is here: https://www.hitched.co.uk/wedding-photographers/london/matt-lee-photography_25263.htm#pos=65&type=2&location=london
And my website here: http://mattleephotographic.co.uk/
I would love to hear from anyone! Hopefully I can help someone with a great deal on their photography!
We have booked aswell 18months ago for cas mila and the price has gone up, although we were told when we booked that the price would go up 5% year on year and expected it.
As far as we were aware the vat would have had to have been paid (but sometimes they can do a part cash payment knocking some of the vat off) so we took that into account in our budget.
we weren't aware of the minimum of 30 adults but we have got over that anyway, the only annoying thing about the new 2017 list is that certain things that were included in the package when we booked are now listed as extras, and there is an increase in price with a lot of the extras (and a lot of it does seem to be massively overpriced anyway).
we did head out there at the end of last summer to check cas mila out so we now have a feel for what kind of extra things we would and wouldn't want/need, it was just being set up for a fairly small wedding and the place did look amazing even without all of the expensive addons.
i think i would be annoyed if my wedding was cut an hour short tho, its fairly short as it is!
Dan&sam2017 we haven't actually seen cas mila, only from photos and videos. I'm not worried as it looks stunning but was there anything in particular you thought it needed/ Def didn't need?
