we got married at Elixir in October and had such a lovely day I've done a blog post which has my photos on there https://victorialeanne12.blogspot.co.uk/2017/02/our-wedding-day-x.html?m=1
Hi Eileen, I wondered if I could pick your brains if possible? I've just started researching plans for an ibiza wedding. We're looking at a very small chilled out, informal, boho style wedding. Probably only 30 guests or so. I LOVE the idea of the flying pigs "love truck". Exactly the sort of vibe we're after rather than a sit down 3 course dinner. A lot of the venues are either catered for larger groups or restaurants (which would mean the love truck wouldn't be an option). The idea Of having a blessing with Paul looking over es vedra sounds fab but I'm struggling to find a venue/villa. Can you recommend anywhere? I've emailed Danielle at velvet circus as I'd love some help with styling. Music wise, chilled out/reggae/acoustic style for the initial part Is what we're thinking, so any recommendations there would be massively appreciated!! Xx
I am getting Married on Formetera on the 24th of September... we too are looking to have a reggae/ska chilled vibe from a band early on and in the evening too.... if anyone knows where I may be able to find such artists please do shout!! also any more recommendations on reasonable photographers would be really appreciated!
In fact if anyone has any experience of getting married on the amazing little island I would love to hear from you,
Wondered if anyone could help me out, I am getting married at Elixir this August (so excited!) and am trying to organise my transport to the venue on the day for myself and my mum, dad and 2 bridesmaids (my sisters) I don't want anything too fancy or expensive just something nice to get me there!
So we have booked our wedding for 18th June 2018 in Ibiza. We have chosen to go with hard rock hotel, getting married on the 9th floor and the reception on the ground floor beach restaurant. I am having around 60 guests and have booked the crèche for 3 hours for the children (minus the ones that are part of the wedding) and then the will join us for the reception after speeches as have quiet a few children coming and didn't want it like a kids party. Has anyone got married here before? What were your experiences? I now need to find DJ, Photographer/videographer Cake maker and have so far emailed lovely laura in regards to playing for an hour at our reception to get the party started. Does anyone have an advise or recommendation on any of these?I haven't got a wedding planner as was another £500 so am currently looking to find this all myself. Or would you suggest just paying it and letting them sort it out? Many thanks Marie ❤️2018 wedding ibiza ❤️
Was wondering when you're wedding in Cas Mila was and was wondering if they did indeed knock some of the vat off the total price? I am getting married there next year and was hoping to pay them in cash with the hope of some of the vat being knocked off!
I am going over to visit ca's mila as an optin for my 2019 wedding ...can you let me know if paying in cash does benefit you as it may be an option for us!
also if you dont mind how much did you pay and for how many guests was there movement on their brochure prices?
Ive recently got engaged and have my heart set on getting married in Ibiza in 2019❤️
I want a small, boho style wedding - approx 30 guests. I can't go crazy on price so wondered if hiring a villa would be cheaper? Has anyone done this? I absolutely love Elixir but have heard it's min 7000 Euro spend and there's lots of hidden extras to add on. Is that correct?
I am assuming you are now married congratulations. I am also looking at getting married at elixir in 2019.
I'm having a virtual tour tmw, but have also booked to go to Ibiza in October as I was hoping to see the venue but Vickki had advised me it will be closed.
Just wondering did you send the venue in person before booking it?
ive just had some info back from Elixie and it's not available for my dates and is probably slightly over budget. Can anyone recommend anything similar to look at in ibiza for roughly 60 guests?
I'm new to the site and have loved reading everyone's comments on the various Ibiza wedding locations. I've just returned from Ibiza visiting all our favourite locations and think Elixir is the one for June 2019.
As always any feedback and recommendations from people who have had their weddings there in the last few years would be really appreciated! Also if anyone went ahead with any extras and now think they weren't necessary?
I've also seen mention of the Elixir bible? Could someone please send this to me: ******.********@*********.**.**
Helloooo, and congratulations! We're getting marring in Ibiza August 2018, at Païssa d'en Bernat. It's beautiful and has loads of different options - you can have the place for a day, or rent it for a week. They can sort planning, catering etc, really helpful and cuts the stress! It's an amazing setting for a boho wedding. We looked at other villas but with most villas as soon as you say 'wedding' they either demand a lot of extra money or they say no. It's not impossible but we worked out that by the time you add on a wedding planner, hire in all the stuff you need for dinner, lights, decor etc it starts to cost you an awful lot of money and also a lot of stress and organisation. We didn't look at Elixir, it looks nice but just not what we wanted, but my experience has definitely been that unless you've got bundles of cash it's way less stress to use a venue that is used to doing weddings.
I’ve just got engaged and too late to view venues in Ibiza this year so need to wait until next May. Elixir is looking like our fav venue at the moment for June 2019 as well! Was the venue true to pictures? I’ve heard it looks a lot smaller in real life? Did it feel secluded? An issue I’ve had with other venues I’ve really liked and seen over the years is lots of opportunity for random bystanders to stop and stare which I’d like to avoid! Any extra info you could give me would really be amazing!
Could someone please help me. I want to get married in Ibiza and want to find somewhere that we can have the wedding reception outdoors without having to move into a bar.
I'm off to ibiza in just over a week to look at potential venues. I'm favouring the elixir at the moment. Any other beach type locations anyone can recommend and what's the "elixir bible" ?
Also what did people do to entertain children on the day? I've had a look into ibiza kids already.
We've booked Ibiza Kids (big day in august), they're planning all sorts of stuff; loads of activities, chill zone later, nanny service for our kids at the end (when we run away to a plush hotel) and supervised kids table at dinner. Their service has been truly excellent so far and what they're planning sounds beyond our expectations. I researched but didn't find a better offer!
Hiya! I just came across your post when scrolling through the archives and wanted to message as I'm thinking along the exact same lines for our wedding in Ibiza next year - which I have yet to organise! Have you had yours now (as I know that your post is from over a year ago)? Just wondering if you would mind sharing some tips? As I am really struggling with finding a venue that meets our requirements and panicking as time is ticking away!
Look forward to hearing from you hopefully! And hope that you had a fab wedding! (or if it's coming up soon then hope the planning is going well!)
I have been searching for some wedding venues in Ibiza and came across Elixir. I've seen a lot of people talk about the 'Elixir Bible' - would another bride to be, be kind enough to send it my way to have a look at please?

Hello guys - this is my first post and hoping you can all help.....Has anyone had/been to a wedding at Sa Capella? I can only find old reviews on here and really hoping to hear of more current experiences. Thanks.
I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to send me a copy of the elixir wedding bible. I really want to get married in Ibiza but have no idea of costs.
You've still got time but several of the popular wedding venues are fully or almost fully booked for december next year so you could probably do with a bit of local help!
you also might run into trouble with ceremony officiates, DJs, buses etc. being fully booked...
Another Ibiza bride here to add to the conversation! I am getting married in May of this year and actually work out there during the summer so I have a multitude of great restaurants and can help answer questions if you have them. I still dont have my reception venue sete in stone but recently got back from Ibiza and met with Rafa at Cas Mila and I was very impressed.
