Please can anyone recommend bars/restaurants in Essex or London to hire
For 95 sit down (7 of which children) Then another 50 for the evening party. We really don’t want a traditional wedding venue. Our budget is £11,000
Myself and my husband got married October last year between the lockdowns, we lost our big wedding like so many in the May, rebooked for May this year but when nothing was getting any better, we booked a smaller wedding of 30 guests for the Oct, the restrictions got tighter and we were forced to go down to 15 just a couple weeks before ! Then just a few days before someone at our little girls nursery got Covid!! so our girls had to self isolate ! So after getting tested ourselves, we still went ahead with an even smaller ceremony with just our parents and my grandparents, we then just went for a meal after with four close friends. It was lovely and I’m so glad we did it and got married, but of course we sadly missed out on all the other finer details. I was so happy to be married and not have the stress hanging over me anymore and wondering what was going to happen with the lockdowns etc it was all so upsetting and stressful ! So Now we are looking for a venue to hire to host a our party. We want a bar/ restaurant in either Essex or London for a sit down meal then to party after, we won’t have any ceremony but I will make some sort of entrance with my dad, me in my dress finally, and our daughters as bridesmaids, upon looking on tag my venue and design my night we can’t find anything suitable and within our budget of £11,000. We are open to scrapping the sit down meal if the venue suits but the sit down meal exceeds the budget. If anyone knows of anywhere that they think may be suitable please let me know ! I would be so grateful as right now I’m mega stressing out again and that’s the last thing I wanted after the year and worry we went through last year. We originally had the Pearson room in Canary Wharf for our reception, it was a wicked place but sadly it had to close down permanently, I think finding somewhere on par with that is what’s making me so disappointed as I have failed to find anywhere as impressive as that and in our budget
