Please post your wedding dress piccies - in a dilemma!

Gorgeous :-) I've noticed alot of dresses tend to be gathered on the side and busts have ruching, I'm deliberating on having a side strap added (which can be taken off) or even halter neck, just to make it a bit different? I'm having about 2ft taken off the length of it so have enough fabric! xx

I do like the thought of customising a dress so it's just 'you'. I'm planning to have an oversized bow on the back of mine personally.

I'm also getting married abroad - and also have an ever shrinking guest list (we're now down to 3 guests and there's a very distinct probability that 2 more are about to drop out!?)- I'm also having a Maggie.

TBH, I did start looking at the smaller, simple dresses as I'm v v conscious of overheating in the tropical climate, but once I'd tried a few on I just ended up going with whatever felt (and looked!) best! I therefore have a slightly slinky number with a train and am planning on having a long veil too - a million miles from what I thought I'd end up with!?

The way I figure it is that, if you're doing it, you may as well do it properly!?

This is mine, ellis 11032, but I think it really looks much nicer than it does in the pics. A bit more sparkly and ive taken the flower off.

You must of loved your dress, else you wouldnt have gone for it, try not to have doubts, |I keep doing that as well. It doesnt matter I dont think if your getting married at home or abroad if you love it, go for it! xx Heres mine......

Wow they're all so beautiful, I love this thread :-) and you're right it shouldn't matter how many are there on the day its how you feel in the dress.

My guest list is shrinking as 1 has lost her job, another is waiting for an op, my other friend is a lecturer and can't take any time off during term time, another couple keep fobbing us off..... I'd rather a yes or no answer!

i had wobblies but went and tryed it on again and remembered why i love it

I got married abroad (there were only 3 guests - plus 2 wedding planners, the photographer and the registrar, so 9 of us altogether!) and I decided I wanted a gown with a lot of detail on the top, but I didnt want a train.

In the end I bought a bridesmaid dress, but in Ivory - would not have paid the money to have them as bridesmaid dresses as they were top end in price, but it was perfect for what I wanted.

Mine is rouched as well, just down one side:

This is mine - Pheonix. I customised it by asking them to add the blue beads on the lace bits on the bodice and the skirt. I am wearing a veil too - only chance I have to do it!

I cant say I havent had wobble though!! Im an older bride and was going for a plain dress unitl I tried this one on!

But I still keep wondering if it is enough and then I try it on and fall in love all over again!!

It's a Raylia Design (previously a sister co of Maggie S) - http://www.rayliadesigns.com/gallerydetails.asp?main_id=179&cat_id=29&subcat_id=0. I think it might be discontinued now but it's still showing on the website so maybe worth checking out. I had the neckline changed from straight to sweatheart and it honestly looked much better even on the hanger than the model.x
