Am not sure if this counts but this is the dress I've fallen in love with! Alfred Angelo. I'm going dress shopping tomorrow so hopefully can try it on

Aw, thanks Nicola. It's by Essence of Australia - I haven't seen many of their dresses on here. The straps are detachable but I really like them so will be keeping them on.

This is mine - but i am getting the bottom all blinged up by the dress maker in the shop - just some subtle sparkles so it catched the light and looks all twinkly!

We have just 10 adults 7 children / guests going so far, possibly 2 or 3 more but that's it! I've decided to switch off from the number of guests coming, we've given everyone plenty of notice (18 months) and changed from Mexico to Turkey due to the shorter flights and abundance of flights, so its up to them if they really want to come. We're not sure about having a party when we get back as I'd like to have it somewhere really nice but its working out really pricey, would rather do it properly or not do it at all, really don't fancy having it in a football/rugby/jubliee/social club so may knock it on the head and enjoy spending time with the guests who come out with us xx

Ooooo some beauties on here!! This is mine but the lace will carry on up into an off the shoulder slash neck type style with 3/4 sleeves!! Ooo that doesnt sound brilliant but it'll be lovely!!!?

Hey September Bride - we're in very similar situations, we have 14 adults and 3 kiddies going. We've decided to concentrate on the guests who are going, rather than worry about the guests who aren't! Sounds abit harsh but it's got to be done, esp when we've given enough notice like you!

I really wanted a party when we got back, but H2B says - we should spend the money that we'd spend on a 'party' on our actual wedding and not hold a party just for other people who haven't come!
