I'm just curious why you feel the need for a specialist photographer, being 'plus size' - whatever that term is meant to mean.

Surely a good photographer will be able to make the most of your natural beauty regardless of an arbitrary number assigned to the label of the clothes you wear?

It sounds like ClaireH had seen some flashes from someones Boudoir shoot who was a curvy lady and would like to use a photographer who's work she has seen that she can relate to (if that make sense!)

This is exactly right AJ. Some photographers know how best to photograph people of varying sizes whilst some apply the same blanket photography technique to all couples, which doesn't really work.

Hiya, I went to Nicola at www.myboudoir.co.uk, she's near manchester but well worth the travel, loads of girls on ehre have used Nicola and she's just fantastic, I was a size 16 when I went for my shoot but I've seen girls on her before after gallery who are a size 22, she's great, highly recommended!

Our photographer was excellent - he even managed to make me look some way towards barely presentable on our pictures...
