I'm having two only decided on one so far...

Falling in Love is Like Owning a Dog by Taylor Mali

First of all, it’s a big responsibility,
especially in a city like New York.
So think long and hard before deciding on love.
On the other hand, love gives you a sense of security:
when you’re walking down the street late at night
and you have a leash on love
ain’t no one going to mess with you.

Love doesn’t like being left alone for long.
But come home and love is always happy to see you.
It may break a few things accidentally in its passion for life,
but you can never be mad at love for long.

Is love good all the time?
No! No! Love can be bad. Bad, love, bad! Very bad love.

Sometimes love just wants to go for a nice long walk.
It runs you around the block and leaves you panting.
It pulls you in several different directions at once,
or winds around and around you
until you’re all wound up and can’t move.

But love makes you meet people wherever you go.
People who have nothing in common but love
stop and talk to each other on the street.

Throw things away and love will bring them back,
    again, and again, and again.
But most of all, love needs love, lots of it.
And in return, love loves you and never stops.

My Sister found and read this at our wedding..

    Love is so very special
Yet can make you feel so lost
It can arrive just like the springtime
And melt away like morning frost

You must find ways to nurture
Always grow your love with care
    Never ever take for granted
The love that you both share

    Mistakes are bound to happen
You may hurt each other's heart
Yet don't give up to easily
It will tear your love apart

    Love resembles a bright flame
That lights a dark starry night
Never ever let this flame burn down
    Rekindle with all your might

    Take a moment every day
Look deep into each other's eyes
    Never hesitate to show affection
Small gestures will keep a love alive

    Talk openly about your feelings
Take time to show that you care
    Treasure each and every moment
Because to find true love is rare

And my Niece who was 9 at the time read this...

Getting Married Means you’ll have by Nicholas Gordon Getting married means you'll have Someone's hand to hold, Even when you're feeling sick, Even when you're old. It means when you sit down to eat, Someone will be there, So you won't have to tell your day To an empty chair. It means that when you need some help, Someone will help out, Someone always near to you So you won't have to shout. But best of all is when it's time To turn out all the lights: You won't have to be alone Those long and scary nights. So even though you don't have toys, You don't have to care: Once you're married you can be Each other's teddy bear!
