B'mouth was fabby. Had a great weekend, sunny weather and it was great to relax and see family too. The grub in Wessex Tales really was great. Ive never eaten vegan before but it was delish. I had the veg and chickpea curry which I really enjoyed and Mr WT had cashewnut roast with veg, roasties and sage gravy, he said it was really tasty and he would deffo have it again, he finished off with sticky toffee pud his fave!

We also had a good meal in Corriander, glad we booked as it was full to the rafters and they were having to turn people away.

Hmm, might have to try it out. Usually i'm a rampant meat eater, but good food is good food, after all.

Was your cousin surprised to see you?

On the subject of lunch - does anyone know if Pret takes cards? Can't be bothered to go to a cash point...

On the subject of lunch porn food, I'm having popcorn. Well I had beans on toast first, but YMR MkI was waffling on about popcorn so I made some to shut him up.

stafoo - he was shocked to say the least! was lovely though as we stayed in the restuarant after he closed up, we were chatting til about midnight, and went back for a coffee lunchtime the next day for a coupl eof hours too. They plan on visiting us for a few days next month as they have some time off.

His brother (my other cousin obviously) was also shocked to see us turn up on his doorstep in Poole on Sunday morning, we stayed with them for over 3 hours catching up on the news. It reeally was the best weekend ever!

I have some low fat, no joy lentil and vegetable soup. When i turned it out of the can (yes I know, can, what doi I expect) it looked like jarred baby food. However it is tastier than it looks. It's still not a sausage roll though.

Mmmmm Pot Noodle.... I'm trying to eat everything that's in our house before we move in a couple of weeks. Today's lunch was a cup of Veg Oxo, a chunck of dry bread and the last Penguin. Carbtastic. Unless Veg Oxo counts as one of your 5-a-day?

I can't quite believe I'm going to admit this.

I just ate a foot long sub. In my defence it was turkey breast and salad with no cheese, and brown bread. I'm flipping stoofed. And a little bit embarrassed. ?

I've just had a 6 inch meatball sub, a sherbet dip dab and a ginger nut. Gorgeous!

Well I think at the moment I can beat you all. I had a chicken and mushroom pie, and then a chocolate doughnut, and then 6 mini meriengues (sp?) and am now smelling the lovely smell of choc chip cookies baking so will have some when they done probably. I do however have the excuse that I'm pregnant, and at the "eat everything that moves (and doesn't)" stage....i am such a pig....

I can't eat pot noodle because it reminds me of hair ?

I had leftover lasagne and some melon with strawberries. Like a proper British person, I am pretending that it's already summer because the sun has come out a bit.

I didn't have true porn food (pasta) but I have just accidentally eaten a bag of revels and a tube of rolos. I bought the rolos for my H as a treat, and without realising it, troughed the whole tube in one sitting. I feel a little bit sick now...

Ugh I had a burger with sweetcorn relish from the chippy. Regretting it slightly now though ?

I had a lovely lunch of left over chinese take away. Roast duck with boiled rice. ?

I'm just going out for my lunch (as it's my day off and i spent the morning baking and then cleaning the kitchen and can't face cleaning it again after making lunch!) so I will be having what ever the deli wrap of the day is and a bowl of crispy hot fluffy and diet-busting potato wedges with garlic mayo... mmmmm!

Well, for lunch today I had a piece of cherry pie, so I think that really qualifies as porn food. We have no food in the house and I can't be bothered to go shopping, so nice healthy lunch for me there. I wanted porridge, but the milk was off
