Poundland :) ....i got lots!

H2B's mother is the manager in Poundland in Cramlington, so we took a trip through there as she said they had wedding/party things in.

I got the following for obviously £1 per pack:

pack of 6 champagne bottle bubbles x 8 (which i will dress with co-ordinating ribbon)

Party poppers 3 packs, 36 in each pack

Napkins - can't be bothered with cake boxes.....napkins will do just fine!

Table confetti in purple, turquoise, blue and silver - mixed designs

Mint imperials x 4 bags (for favours)

all of that for £19! i'm rather chuffed with that!

Also received through the post today:

Crystal topped pins to secure decor to wedding cake

3 beads i'd ordered to complete my wedding bracelet

Ribbons for wedding car (black ribbon to form the v, and 3 pull bows in dark purple)

Edible black glitter to sprinkle on the wedding cake (wedding cake will have black icing)

    Bargains! and a productive day! Hobby Craft has some cheap stuff too, gor out place cards £10 for £100. I think I might look in Poundland for the table confetti.

    The poundland near where we are had the usual just married confetti, hearts and horseshoes etc in gold and silver, and then the stuff i got: stars, balloons etc etc in purple, silver, pink, turquoise, and the same stuff in red and gold. x

    Ohhh that sounds bargainous!

    I need to fill up some hen night favour bags so it looks like I'll be taking a trip to Poundland!

    They had lots of hen night things there, badges, sashes, L plates, bunny ear head bands, hats, feather boas etc etc Smiley smile

    oh and they do party cannons (the giant party poppers) anyone thats after them....can't grumble for a quid each x

    Well done you, you're going full steam aren't you?! We all love a bargain, think I will head down there and see what I see.

    Wish I was as creative and talented as you to make my own things. Luckily I have a great sister who is very willing to sit and made little fiddly things for me.

    Black icing makes your poop black! I made my fiance a batman cake and he pooped black for about 3 days LOL!

    Yayyy - im not the only one Smiley smile.

    I went to Poundland today and got the bubbles too - and then I went to the cancer research shop and got everything for favours in there for half price Smiley smile lol. Good day really lol xx

    At least i can say my wedding had a 'lasting effect' lol, and i think the amount some of my friends drink....the icing will be the least of their worries lol
