Preserving Wedding Flowers

Emily, 27 October, 2024 at 16:19 Posted on Planning 0 1
Is anyone choosing to preserve their wedding flowers? Or has anyone had any success stories doing this?
Either in resin or dried and framed?
I can’t decide whether to do this or not and I don’t know anyone that has so wanted to gather opinions and any potential recommendations! Many thanks!

I pressed some of mine and stuck them on to air-dry clay decorations for our tree. I also had some of them dried and encapsulated into a bookmark for my mother (she collects bookmarks, hence the choice, but you can also have paperweights etc).

If you want to preserve your wedding flowers, I'd consider just doing something small with part of your bouquet. That way, chances are that you will keep and enjoy using whatever it is for years, whereas the risk with preserving the whole bouquet is that it will take up a lot of space and you may find yourself getting fed up with it in a few years but still feeling guilty about throwing it out!
