Price comparison for a naked cake?

3 September, 2015 at 22:59 Posted on Planning 0 6

Hi guys, I've been quoted a mates rate of £160 for a decent 3/4 tier naked cake decorated with icing sugar only (I'm providing the decor)- does this sound decent to you? We both really didn't have a clue but it seems ok to me, so was just after an idea of naked cake prices x

Well judging by the quotes I got, that seems a bit dear if it's "mates rates". Depending on how big the company was, the local people we asked for and people who were only in the business a few years, they were charging £100-160 for 3 tier naked cake with decor. We got our naked cake ordered from a local person for £100. Depends on how established this friend is? And location?

From what I've seen when I was looking that's seems really good. I live down south and most were at least £190.

I'd definitely say that was a good price! I pay for a 1 tiered birthday cake (decorated) about £70.
