Providing drinks for wedding breakfast

Nicole, 21 January, 2024 at 14:10 Posted on Planning 0 3
Hi all! We're providing the drinks for our wedding breakfast and I'm unsure on how much to buy. We'll have 10 tables of 10, and will need to include bottled water for the tables as well. Any ideas on how much of the following we need to provide:

WaterSoft drinks (not sure how many options to have?)Rose wineWhite wine
Thanks!

Standard is half a bottle of wine per person. A jug of water and a jug of juice/soft drink per table should be fine then just top this up throughout the day if needed.

We took a similar approach at our wedding last year, half a bottle of wine per person proved to be a reliable guideline, with an approximate 60/40 split between white and rosé depending on your guests’ preferences. For soft drinks, we offered two or three options (Coke, Diet Coke, and lemonade), placing a few bottles on each table and keeping additional stock nearby for replenishment. We used bottled water on the tables and sourced it in bulk through suppliers such as https://bottledevents.com/ Purchasing slightly above the estimated quantity allowed us to return any unopened cases to the supermarket afterward.
