Purple and yellow wedding... Do I add gold?

I debated for a while about a 2nd colour for our wedding to go with purple, between yellow or gold. Decided in the end to go with yellow to brighten up for an April wedding. I keep finding things recently all in gold which I love. Question is do I add gold too or will it be too much?

After looking at my dress again, I've suddenly thought maybe god isn't a great idea as there's silver/sparkle & opal/pearl type things. Not sure if my yellow idea would look right either! I seem to be over thinking everything. What do you ladies think. This was just some of the ideas so far. I haven't bought anything yellow colour wise so could change it with chair cover people, florist etc.

I've just gone for yellow. My wedding is a spring wedding in Wales where daffodils will be EVERYWHERE. It is my favourite colour, and I am not the kind of person who does "subtle" or "understated".

Everything will be as yellow as possible. I may even provide sunglasses for the uninitiated eyes.

I'm afraid I dont have much yet, never been one to be organised!!

Plan on stepping things up after Christmas & choose my flowers. I saw some lovely iris' the other day that were purple & yellow in the middle

Will happily flash when i get stuff though
