    My bro had :
bm, bm, MOB, FOG, Groom, Bride, FOB, MOG, best man x2

I don't think it matters really!

From a guest facing the top table you will see

CBM FOG MOB Groom Bride FOB MOG BM

Groom sits to the right of the bride so that he can protect her with his sword !

I think that is the traditional layout. I am ditching this idea cos H2B's mum won't like to sit seperate from his dad, not sure how I'm seating my family as parents are remarried. Mum has split from 2nd husband and will be on her own. Thinking stepmum will need to sit on top table too.

This is how it's supposed to be. Have you done your table plan yet? If not, it would be well worth downloading Perfect Table Plan.

So excited for you LLL! ?

Thanks Victoria. Yes the seating plan is all worked out, I just suddenly thought about whether I had done the top table order correct!

I've got a bit of a nightmare because my dad won't be at our wedding because he's really ill and isn't expected to live that long. This means I'll be sat next to my HUSBAND ? and his mum ☹️ who bless her, but I just can't cope with for any period of time. She is going to make me super stressed and I just don't think I can cope. My H2B has also got 2 best men but I don't know if it would be politically correct to have one of them sat next to me? e.g
CBM (Speech) FOG MOB (Speech) Groom (Speech) Bride BM1 (Doing speech) MOG BM2(Doing stag)

I think you're right for the traditional order!

We having it a bit different:

Best Man 1, Best Man 2, MOB, FOB, Bride, Groom, MOG, MOG's partner, CBM, SIL2B

    HTH ?
