Hi Everyone Smiley smile

I want some entertainment for our wedding but don't want the 'ordinary, go-to' ideas.
Has anyone got any suggestions? Smiley smile

    Hiya

I have picked up 10-12 board games and challenges from charity shops to use during the room transition (if bad weather) and as a chill out space for the evening. I have also been buying up either the mini quizes in tins or bundles of Trivial Pursuit question cards to use on the tables as ice breakers. Again, all pre-loved; we are trying to be more sustainable and not buy new if we can help it!

Loads of free printables online - I have made a personalised wedding speech bingo. Lots of advice cards, date night ideas, etc.

How about table vs table quiz, challenges, pass the parcel?

We have also hired a close up magician for during our photos during the transition time and to welcome our evening guests. He has cost us about £350 but he's staying from about 5pm until 1am, so I think that is good value for money.

Depending on where and when you get married, your venue might have resources you can use for free. We're getting married at a National Trust property and we have asked to borrow their croquet sets to use during the post ceremony photos.

I am sure that a lot of the other forum members will have some great ideas too!

    Ali xx
