Quirky, fun ideas of wedding lul

Rahman, 30 September, 2021 at 17:37 Posted on Planning 0 3
We’re having a venue wedding where the whole day (ceremony, wedding breakfast & evening reversion) all in the same building. There will be a bit of a lul in between the wedding breaking dash and evening do while they set up can anyone think of something we can do to keep our guests entertained? Photos will be done in between ceremony and wedding breakfast

How long of a gap do you have, what time is your ceremony and what time have you been given for the sit down for the wedding breakfast also how many guests will you be having - are there extra coming for the evening, what time of year is the wedding. These are all factors that will affect the timings of the day and weather or not there will actually be any lul at all in my experience.

I'd your guests are staying at the Venue they may welcome a little break to check in and freshen up. If summer you could have some games outside like giant jenga, snamws and ladders or if only an hour or so pwopwl can stroll the grounds or just chill at the bar if there is one. If autumn or winter and indoors is there a space they could set up something? Friends hired some fairground games like a coconut shy, and hook a duck. We have a space and are putting a switch in there with just dance on and then in the evening putting a projector in for films for the kids with bean bags so the have a chill out zone

Hi, I worried about people getting bored - we had the same situation as you with everything at one venue.

Nobody complained, everyone I spoke to said the day went perfectly smoothly and it meant people were able to wander off around the venue with no pressure and not worry about missing anything - to be honest I feel like there was no time at all between the different parts! Smiley smile
