Having seen this mentioned in Treacles most, can you ladies give me some info on it?

Does it really work?

Hiya! I can't give much info re: ingredients or anything or the supposed science behind it (mostly because I'm preparing a pie n can't go look at the box) but it's supposed to promote length and thickness within 3-4 weeks I think it said, I've now been using it for nearly two months and although I don't think anyone else would notice a difference I actually can, they feel fuller and stronger, a little stumpy clump I had on my left eye seems to be as long as my others now, and less are falling out. My lashes are quite fair tipped naturally, but when I put mascara on they definitely have more oomph! I read a lot of reviews before buying it n they were nearly all positive, n it was about £26!

It did for me. Need to be patient though, it can take 6-8 weeks to see a difference but even OH noticed the extra length!

think i got mine on amazon - much cheaper than boots!

It worked well for about 3 months and then it stopped working. I noticed the lashes all fell out at around the same time and since then it hasn't worked for me anymore :-(

My advice would be to hold off until a few weeks before the wedding so you get the best effect.

Have you considered LVL lashes? That's what I'm having for my wedding day. The treatment takes about 40 mins and they straighten your natural lashes from the root. They also apply a lash tint. It lasts 4-6 weeks.

    Hope this helps.

The lashes fell out over a 2-3 week period so you would have enough notice to still get extensions if you decide you need them.

I got rapid lash and rapid brow from Amazon, the brow one worked straight away and I stopped using them about a month ago and now my lashes have grown loads . Worth a try

I got eyelash extensions once, and every time I got a bit teary or my eyes got watery it stung like mad. I did consider it for the wedding but I wouldn't now.

I don't think the glue agreed with my eyes!

I had a mini argh after reading a few of the above comments about eyelashes falling out, i hadnt read that in any of the reviews i read (n i really read a lot!) when i looked again i did spot some that seemed to say their eyelashes started to fall out after about 3 months - but tbh i think that thats probably them just noticing normal lash loss, cus they get replaced every 8-12 weeks anyway (maybe its just more noticeable when your already more aware of them because youre using the stuff in the first place IYKWIM) , ive been going 2 months now without problem (she says crossing her fingers in case she now ends up with bald eyes), im now only using it every night to every other night just because i dont feel the need to use it more cus theyre lovely looking now...if youre a bit worried id suggest perhaps start 2 months prior to your wedding date? plenty of time for it to work if its going too Smiley smile

Yep, that's what I had. I loved it, but I can't afford to get it done regularly, so I have been googling and reading a lot of reviews about lash lengthening products. Two that come up often are castor oil and almond oil - both worth trying I'd say, and much cheaper than specialist products.

I also notice that Rapidlash has changed its formula somewhere down the line, and used to contain Latisse, which is marketed in the UK as Mylash (I think - the website is blocked here under 'drugs'!) Now it's just a bunch of oils and amino acids. Also biotin, which I tried taking for hair growth but it broke me out in zits. Not that putting something on your lashes could give you zits, but it's interesting that that's what's in it.
