Rainbow Club Shoes... True to size?

MrsF2Bee, 29 March, 2014 at 09:28 Posted on Planning 0 8

I've found some super pretty Rainbow Club shoes, but are they good for sizing?
I'm normally a 6.5 and a 7 is always to big, wondering if they come up small or not?

I'm either a 5 or a 6 depending on the shop and have just bought size 5.5 rainbow clubs and they fit perfectly

I'm normally a 7, sometimes an 8 if the shop has ridiculous sizes but I ended up with a 6.5.

I ended up having it get a smaller size than I usually would

I think it depends on the shoe! I'm a size 5 and that's what I tried on in the bridal shop, some styles fitted but others didn't. In the style I'm getting (Aspen) the 5s were HUGE and I'm having to get the lady in the shop to post some size 4s once she's ordered them to me in Italy (I live there!) and everything is crossed that they fit! She said they're good with exchanges though so if they don't fit you can always change, although I think they only do exchanges and no refunds.

I got the same size, I'll need to break them in though just so I know they are super comfy on the day. Plus I love the fact if I don't get them scotch guarded before I wear them I can get them dyed after the wedding, lol it's like 2 pairs of shoes for the price of 1.

I would definitely buy from a shop if you can so that if you need to change them they will do all the sending back and forth. I ordered mine through a wedding shop (who were very helpful after having rang 2 other shops who really weren't helpful at all) and just had to pay a deposit to get them to order them in.

I am a size 7 and brought a size 7. I brought the same shoes for my bridesmaids as having them dyed to go with their dresses and my friend who ranges between 5 to 6 has ended up getting a size 5 1/2. The other bridesmaid I have to send her shoes to Australia so am hoping they fit!!

Hopefully some of that is helpful to you! Good luck. Smiley smile

I was a bit concerned when I looked through this thread as I'd just ordered a pair of Rainbow Shoes from E-bay and could only get a 6 1/2 , ( normally a size 6 ). They arrived today and they fit perfect so I think it may depend on the style. These have ankle straps on. Really happy with them , I'd convinced myself they would be too big so really pleased they fit !! And they were a bargain too :-)
