Ranunculus in October? Alternatives please

tinkerbelly1983, 20 May, 2011 at 18:02 Posted on Planning 0 1

Been to see my lovely florist today with some new pics of what I would like and she sadly told me that Ranunculus aren't available in October [:'(] I'm gutted because I've really fallen in love with them. I am definitely having freesia, hypericum berries and coffee break roses. Does anyone have any ideas for an alternative to the ranunculus?

If you really have your heart set on Ranunculas you could ask your florist to mix artificial ones in with the fresh flowers. They are so realistic now you wouldn't tell the difference & you will have the scent from the freesias & Roses.
