Anybody can 'model', it doesn't take that much to make someone look spectacular. Just a bit of TLC in taking the image and a good make up artist/stylist. If you've got the confidence to go in front of the camera you're half way there!
To be fair on everyone the amount of post work that goes into publication images is far more than people realise. A retouched image can take hours to work on and doesn't even resemble the model in real life afterwards...
I realise this is in fun, but it can demoralise some people into thinking they have to look like the models.
It can also show people that the dress on a model can look completely different on a "real bride" & perhaps not to go into a shop with a set idea of the style of dress you want because they do look very different. As for demoralising brides no not everyone is a size 8 with model looks, but every bride looks amazing on her wedding day!! You used the word in your above post "FUN", this is just a bit of fun & a chance for Zippy & PG to flash their dresses again!!! ?
Any excuse to flash, I will never be this slim but I have lost weight since this picture was taken so waiting for when I am in it totaly before next picture taken
I have no dress to flash a pic of me in yet but thought I'd add that I love everyones dresses and you'll all knock the socks off your H2B's when they do eventually see you in them!
Zippy and PG, I know I'll be exactly the same. Am shocking for keeping secrets like this! I once arranged a weekend away for OH's birthday and did really well until 2 days before we left when I accidently told him we were going to Paris - am a nightmare!
I think most folk know these 'models' are airbrushed, stretched and re-moulded into probably impossible and unrealistic proportions for the glossy mag photos ... and why do they insist they pose in such rediculous ways??! Although 'my' model below seems to have got away with doing the back breaking 'lean back' pose with arms flailing like a broken windmill ....
Oh I love the dress flashes! I've never seen some of the pics on the models before, some of them do look really different on! Mrsp2be2009, I love your dress, that's the first time I've seen it, it's lovely.
