    Whereabouts are you thinking?

I had my wedding fully booked for Zante in 2020 which was obviously covid cancelled, unfortunately we couldn’t rebook abroad due to several reasons but I can definitely recommend my planner from there!

If you’re going Greece or Cyprus, I would say hire a local wedding planner rather than use a British or typical holiday company. Not only do they have some of the better locations, but they can get you great deals and you don’t end up with the corporate holiday company fees. At a large holiday company you could end up just a booking number....

However, if you’re looking at hotel wedding as part of a Caribbean package holiday for example, it’s probably best going with either the hotel or holiday company direct.

Be careful if you decide to plan things yourself without a planner, as from my experience in Greece, you need someone who speaks the language, understands the customs and their obscure rules (eg the town hall won’t make you an appointment but they’ll see you when they feel like it!]

Hi, have you decided which country you would like to get married in?

There are always wedding packages through tour operators like TUI - we considered this but found the packages were too 'set' for the more informal wedding we wanted so I googled wedding planners on the island, read reviews, joined their facebook groups and spoke to previous brides before booking anything. We are getting married in Kos next summer and have a lovely wedding planner called Paola, she met us on Zoom and spoke through everything, made us feel really relaxed and like we could make the day exactly how we wanted it rather than purchasing a pre-made package. She gave lots of communication before any money was exchanged so I would suggest speaking with local wedding planners and getting a vibe from them because you will know when it feels right! good luck Smiley smile

It all depends on what country you are planning to go to. For example, in Europe enjoys great popularity booking.com, it is the biggest platform to book a hotel. But if you travel in the western hemisphere, you need to use other services. I went on holiday with my family a few years ago. We wanted to book Jungle Vista Hotel because we had read reviews that it was the best hotel. We quickly found a website on the internet where we could book a hotel at an affordable price.
