Register Office not called back

So I rang the registry office last week and gave them the date and time we want to get married. They said someone will call next Tuesday (yesterday) to take booking and deposit. They haven't called.
I have left a message with someone was told they will call back that day and emailed and not heard anything.I'm panicking becuase it's February date, xmas next week so will be shut. People need to book off leave for work and we need to tell the restaurant to confirm.
Do I keep ringing or wait for them? I don't want to annoy them buts is horrible waiting on people when you need to get on with things.

I would keep ringing, or go down there. Have you given notice yet? If not then you are cutting it fine for the 30 day notice. We booked our registrar months ago but now struggling to get an appointment to give notice as they wouldn't let us do it unless 2 months before, this week they have removed that restriction but they have no appointments for Jan or Feb and March not yet on the system which will be our last chance for the 30 days! Is soo frustrating, and I get you don't want to annoy them but you have to just keep on at them. hope you get it sorted soon and can tick one less stress inducing task off your list!

Oh my gosh I must be impatient, they called back 🙈 thanks for taking time to reply though. Giving notice start of Jan so that's booked in too
