Registrars!

I’m wondering if anyone has any helpful advice. Me and my partner are not getting married in a church, we want a civil ceremony but the prices can be silly to get them to come out. Does anyone know a rough cost if you were to just go to the office and marry legally then a ceremony at the venue?
