We've chosen the Reid Rooms as our venue and are really excited! We are now having the dilemma of package vs sorting out catering/drinks/DJ ourselves, however. The main sticking point is the drinks package is £22/head for unlimited drink during reception/meals and we have no idea if this is good value or not. As Reid Rooms has no corkage perhaps we would be better off sourcing it ourselves to save money?
Also the caterer for the package wedding option is a company called Anna Shutes. I can't find much in the way of reviews online and wondered if anyone had any experience of their catering?
Any ideas about pros/cons of package vs organising it yourself would be much appreciated as I really have no idea in this area. Originally thought package would work out cheaper/be a bit easier but now really unsure!
