Resturant reception - pre order/choices

As we are only having a small ceremony (20 people) we are going to a restaurant for lunch afterwards. I thought it would be best to pre order so it's easier on the day.
I'm just not sure how to go about with this? I don't particularly want a wad of pages of the menu tucked In the invites as that will look silly.
How should we get people to choose something and let us know thier options? Maybe I'm over thinking this!

    Most restaurants have menus online now - if yours does (check with the restaurant to make sure they won't be changing the menu before the wedding!) then direct your guests to the website.

    But unless the menu is extremely long, it would be ok to send a copy with the invite. We sent menus with our wedding invites and it was 2 pages, copied back-to-back, so not a lot to include.

    Check with the restaurant if you are ok to order off the full menu. My friends did the same and although they had booked the table the restaurant gave them a set of 4 starters, mains and desserts to pick from so they could ensure they had the food in but also is far easier for them to be able to cater a large table with less options. Tey then sent us the choices on a card that we ticked our preference and sent back with the RSVP. If you are ok to order from the full menu I would give then the link to the website and ask them to email you their choices, you can then collate in to a list to give to the restaurant and then just take a copy on the day to allow you to check is all ok
