Ribbon Anti-Fray Spray?

Noodle2Be, 6 February, 2011 at 19:02 Posted on Planning 0 2

Any ideas anyone? I've just finished making the invites and now need to tie ribbon in a bow, so need something to stop the ends of the ribbon fraying.

Cheers!

A tiny dab of PVA glue would hold it. Or you can buy something that stops fabric fraying but I can't remember the name - I'll have a think. Also cutting ribbon at an angle - daigonally or so it is a inverted V shape also stops it fraying too much.

I cut at an angle then wave the very end over a match - the heat seals it. Don't get it too close though!
