Ring engraving

We wanted to get ours engraved, with a bible verse and the date of our wedding too, but it was too expensive. They didnt tell us int he shop that it would be more if we didnt have it done when they made the rings. We may get them done for our first anniversary or first child or something like that.

We had "for better, for worse" and the date of the wedding. I liked the idea of putting part of the vows in the ring, especially this bit which reminds us to weather the tough times as well as enjoy the good times.

We got ours done too. We have each others names inside with the dates - so he'll never forget.

My ring is too thin to be engraved but my OH has our initials and wedding date.

We have the date in roman numerals and the latin for 'love endures'

I quite like the idea of getting our wedding rings engraved, there is usually a limit to about 16 characters. Not sure what to have though, OH wants something like 'Forever' but I would prefer something a bit more original x

We were going to but then we forgot.

How much does it generally cost to get a ring engraved?
