in some countries they eat zebra don't they? ?

i honestly don't think i could eat a manky old pigeon that had been rummaging in the dumpsters outside burger king or something ?

It wasn't roadkill, he trapped it then clubbed it over the head.

i agree with Zeb, its probably had a nicer life than a lot of meat has.

KITC, sit down, this will come as a horrific shock, but some HITCHERS eat zebra, you know. Not that I'm looking at any tall, slim Hitchers from South Africa in particular here, oh no....

Another not bothered here, though we happily tolerate a pair of the grey demons here - it gives the cat some greatly needed exercise.

I'll eat anything tasty that's been a happy chappy.

Ooh, I love Hugh, I have a secret crush on him ?

I've never had squirrel but would certainly try it, why not? We toyed with the idea of buying a couple at a farmers market last week but went for a rabbit instead (something else I'd never tried), yum! Before programmes like this I probably wouldn't have tried it though. Saying that in the wake of the death of Roxy our pet bunny a couple of days ago I wouldn't dare attempt a repeat rabbit recipe, the kids might be very suspicious! ?

You can go off someone very quickly I'll have you know. Mr S wasn't too impressed when I told him I'd rather go to Dorset next year for hols than back to Florida with the children (and I was serious), lol. What was he like, was he very lovely?

I saw that, my stripey dinner friend. Someone pass the cranberry sauce...

I wouldn't eat a London squirrel (nor pigyon), but country ones are different.

Yeah yeah yeah, laugh it up

but once the oil runs out, society breaks down, and you're all going hungry, I'll be the one who's laughing!

with my multitude of jars of bin-jam, shelves of pickled what-nots, and foraged fancies
