Rodeo Bull at wedding...

Becklarrr, 28 August, 2012 at 14:16 Posted on Planning 0 12

Me & my OH are thinking about hiring one of these at out wedding! However they aren't cheap and don't want to get it if people aren't going to use it! Would you have a go if it was at someone else's wedding or have you been to a wedding where there has been one?

I saw this on a DTTB episode. It looks like fun, but more 21st birthday party than wedding. I doubt I would give it a go as I wouldn't want the whole wedding to see my undies when I fall off!!

Not a cat in hell's chance I'm afraid. Anything I would wear for a wedding would flash my knickers when I inevitably went flying after 3 seconds.

    Boys might I suppose.

    Not for me I'm afraid!

Not for me either. I'd be too worried my dress would be ripped, so it'd def not be my thing.

Nope, not a chance. Posh dress + wine not going to be a good combo.

I would always wear a dress to a wedding so probably wouldn't incase I flashed my knickers when falling off! I'd enjoy watching others on it though x

I wouldn't sorry. I think if your guests are wearing their sunday best to your wedding they may be reluctant to get on something that might make them dirty/rip their clothes/cover themselves in blood (bit extreme I know but I read an article where a girl lost the top of her finger on one of these).

    I wouldn't... the boys might.

Also what about if people get a bit merry, go on it and then throw up everywhere...

I would but as a guy I would be wearing trousers so not fear of flashing my undies (although flashing undies not really an issue for guys anyway) unless the guys are wearing kilts and going commando?? That could be somewhat awkward viewing!!ha

    Thanks girls & guys!

It is more H2b who wants it so will show him this thread & prove to him its a bad idea!!

Fireworks was my suggestion which i think is much more romantic/sensible!

It's your wedding and I wouldn't dream of telling you how to spend your money but if you have a few hundred quid spare, I would stick it behind the bar. I think most guests would appreciate that more than fireworks/rodeo bulls.

Unless you're already providing lots of free drinks - in which case, ignore me! Smiley smile

Going against the grain but I would. Then again, my mum had one at her second marriage and our wedding is going to be full of people who I know would love it so i think it's more about knowing your guests.
