Role for 13 year old brother

SunnyBlueConfetti745, 14 May, 2017 at 23:03 Posted on Planning 0 2

Hi everyone

I'm getting married next May and have a young brother and sister. My sister will be a flower girl/bridesmaid, but I'd like a role for my brother as I really don't want him to feel left out or less special than my sister. Any ideas?

    Hi,

He could be the ringbearer... Usually this is the best man's job but this would make your brother feel important on the day. Alternatively how about making him an usher, greeting guests and showing them to their seats, handing out order of service at the entrance etc?

My 14 year old stepson and 15 year old nephew are ushers for us

we dont expect they will actually 'usher' anyone as the stepson is shy and the nephew is a teenage mumbler but they both happy to be getting suited and booted and looking forward to the day.................at least i think thats what the mumbler said!!!

My 14 year old brother and 13 year old sister are going to be ushers. They both seem happy enough to do it.
