Ronald Joyce Brunilde

May Bride 2016, 1 January, 2015 at 22:18 Posted on Planning 0 5

Would anybody have an idea of how much the Brunilde costs, ideally not wanting to go over £1000. as there's bound to be extra costs for alterations! I know the golden rule is never get a fixed idea of what you want and should always try all styles on but just fallen in love with it so if it's out of reach can come to terms with it now...or go back to the budget planner!!!!

it is true though, when i went dress shopping i kept trying on a set style and none of them suited me. When the women in the shop told me to try a different style, i fell in love. would of never picked it off the hanger myself though lol

It's deffinately worth asking about. I've just bought Robyn and it cost £1400. Brunilde is a similar style if I remember correctly so maybe a similar price.

It's worth asking around for sample sales too......but deffo go try that princess style on first, it will help you decide if it is the right style for you. Worth trying the outlets as well, although the experience there can be very different to a bridal boutique. if you take a picture with you and show them, they will find similar dresses.

It's also worth noting that it comes with the veil and belt, most dresses don't so do factor that into your costs. Alterations can easily be up to £150 depending what you need doing so it's worth looking at what an alternative dress might cost when you add the cost of the veil and belt as they don't come cheap. That said, there are ways of reducing the costs of those. Ebay do a great selection of diamanté appliques which you can attach to ribbon for a fraction of the costs and veils can be found from a number of other sources.

Another route to perhaps consider is sourcing a preloved dress. Just another thought if it does end up outside your price range.
