Round VS Teardrop- Pics

CupcakeQueen, 17 January, 2010 at 21:25 Posted on Planning 0 18

I cannot decide if I want a round or teardrop bouquet. I am not having real flowers and like to have decisions made so so far the choices are between the two below:

or

and this is my dress:

Opinions would be appreciated- thank you!

I think the round one is nicest. Your dress has such beautiful detail on it I think the teardrop would detract from your dress.

Your dress is so pretty - the teardrop (and it's a lovely bouquet) will cover up some of that lovely detail on your dress - I'd say the round one it's just as lovely as the teardrop just smaller!

Emm- I prefer the flowers and greenery in the first one but I think the shape is just too much for me. I might ask if they can make the first one in a round shape.

Thank you for the advice- I swear this forum keeps me sane!

    xx

I prefer the shower bouquet but without the blue running throughout the bouquet - I would be tempted to just have a blue organza ribbon trail. You could ask for a combination of the two..... i.e., a round bouquet with a trail similar to this:-

Both these bouquets are made with artificial flowers.

Glad to help! The first bouquet was made for a petite Bride who wanted a shower bouquet but didn't think she was tall enough and couldn't decide between the posy or the shower so I designed her this one!

I think something like an extended posy as the teardrop would take away from the detail on your dress:
