rsvp help- hitchers putting on buses

Hi everyone, Happy New Year!

I am going into wedding overdrive as i have realised it is not long now(May) and i have soooooooo much to do! PANIC!

I am trying to get the wording for rsvp's and it's so tricky to get all the info i need. We are putting on buses due to the distance between our church and reception so i need people to tell me on their reply's whether they require spaces and i am trying to ensure that i cover every option. Does the following make sense to you:

Name(s)_________________________________________

will/will not be able to attend the marriage of Bigdancer and Weedancer.

Do you require a space on the bus travelling from XXX Cathedral to XXX following the ceremony?

Yes___ Number of seats required____ No____

Do you require a space on the bus at the end of the night, leaving from XXX and returning to XXX?

Yes___ Number of seats required____ No____

Please note the number of guests requiring a vegetarian meal_____

R.S.V.P. by 28th February 2009

My other worry is my veggie question...is what ive written ok?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    OMG you are May and have your invitations RSVP for end of February!!!!!!!!!!

    We are both having BWC for our music if I remember correctly?

    P.S. That sounds fine but I'd maybe change the bus details bit to be something like

    Do you require a space on the bus travelling from XXX Cathedral to XXX following the ceremony?

    Yes / No (delete as appropriate) If yes number of seats required? _______

    Do you require a space on the bus at the end of the night, leaving from XXX and returning to XXX?

    Yes / No (delete as appropriate) If yes number of seats required? _______

    Thanks so much PG, your idea sounds alot better!

    Im not having BWC doing music but yeah, im friends with her.

    I know my rsvp date is super early but we have people coming from all over the world (mauritius, america, canada, Oz) so i really want to get them out early. Plus, im finding it really hard to estimate numbers for booking buses etc...so hard to tell how many will want to drive, stay over and so on. I fear my wedding is a logistical nightmare!!!

    Hows things with your planning?xxx

    I've actually asked them to write down their names (i've made sep bus slips) so that I know who is getting the bus and that the driver knows that everyones got on the bus that should be... not taking off and leaving anyone behind...

    Should you broaden the vegetarian meal to any special dietary requirements? Just in case anyone has an allergy or anything?

    Are you Yvonne? Sorry Debs has mentioned a few pals so I'm probably getting so confused!

    My planning just isn't really happening. I don't know what to be doing so I'm doing nothing! I'm waiting on my stationery person getting jpeg's to me because I only decided a few weeks ago I didn't want to be making my own invitations so I've landed a bespoke design on Prettywild and she very kindly fitted me in. I'll get the invitations Feb some time and send them out then and I've just said to h2b I need his friends addresses cos you've made me mega panic!

    Need to order bm dresses like NOW NOW NOW!

    Order rings next

    Lose weight to fit into dress!!

    and then just the other stuff like sorting out readings etc.

    Print menus, sort table plan, design table plan, print place cards blah blah blah (I'm not really appreciating how long this will actually take just yet)

    Please feel free to tell me all the other stuff I've forgotton though.

    PG, Dont worry, i have millions to do...for example, on my current to do list is : find wedding rings, meet with priest to sort dispensation for h2b, cake, flowers, choose BM dresses, jewellery, accessories, hair, makeup, make 130 invites, music, all the stuff you mentioned....need i go on...i have lots to do, but im kind of a last minute girl, work best under pressure, haha, i better hope that's true or this wedding will be a shambles.

    About the special dietary requirements suggestion- i thought about this, then swithered as i thought people might just start writing things they dont like, rather than things they are actually allergic to. Hmmm, maybe i need to rethink this???

    Teehee, that's a good idea about bus slips.

    We are arranging to put a bus on to take guests from the church to XXX should you require it.

    Please let us know if you require a lift to the Hotel.

    A return bus will leave the xxx Hotel and return to City Centre in the evening.

    Please let us know if you require a seat on the bus back to xxx.

    Cheska, YAY! My wedding twin...how exciting! Can you believe how soon it all is now? I'm starting to get nervous. I still have a lot to do as im not the most organised person. How are you getting on?xxx
