RSVP wording

Autumnroseee, 8 May, 2012 at 16:48 Posted on Planning 0 2

Hi everyone

I'm making my own "RSVP'S" and from looking I've found some interesting/funny ideas of what to put in them... like....

Anyone else have any funny/different ideas of wording?

I like the last two! I saw an invitation the other day that had something like...

I will be there with bells on

I will be there but will not be bringing any bells

I will not be there but have heard there will be lots of bells ringing

It was funnier than that but I can't remember the exact wording ?

This one? It did make me laugh, but I had to ask my mum what the whole bell thing was about! (it's mad that I'd never heard of it before!) x

Yes that's it! Although I'm really disappointed that the couple whose invitation it was didn't make it up themselves, I thought it was original haha! I don't know the origin of the'be there with bells on' phrase but have heard it used a lot.
