You'll be warm after five minutes. It's fine.

That's what I'm hoping. We went running when it was -something a few weeks ago, within 10 minutes I had to take my jacket off. But still I shall be going. I'm really enjoying it, and I have the added bonus of toning up quite nicely. ?

I only ever wear a long sleeved running top and a gillet. Could you work your run so that after ten mins you run by your house? That way you can drop coat off and carry on.

Thanks chicken. I'll do that tonight. It would make my life a lot easier.

Sorry for the delay in replying, I had to sort my son out.

I've just been out in t shirt and shorts - I love running in the cold. Chicken - knee seems to be holding up although after 2 miles thought I wouldn't push my luck!

How are you doing BGB? You've been doing it a while now haven't you? Do you think you've benefited from it yet? I've only been doing it for a few weeks and I can see a difference in my fitness and shape already.

Great benefits - clear weight loss, no longer have high blood pressure and I feel much better in myself. I've been sidelined with a knee problem for a week although felt much better today despite the break (I've been climbing the walls, then climbing hills in the interim). What plan are you following?

That's good news mate. What is it - five weeks until the big day? You're right not to push it (I'm sure that's the cause of my problems).

Fantastic health benefits for you then. And for free, can't fault it.
Glad the knee is on the mend, must have been torture not been able to go out.
I'm not following any plan. Me and my running partner have just been mapping out runs and doing what we can. ? It's going really well. I'm really enjoying it.
I've always avoided running situations, I can't believe i was so silly to keep putting it off. Seems like I'm much better than I used to give myself credit for.
Just going to get ready to go out now. Think I'll leave my jacket here. I only use it for a short while anyway.

It's absolutely gorgeous weather here - cold but really sunny. I've just been out for a great run! (ok so it may well have been the slowest 2.5 miles in history but I don't care)
