So i've cracked open my sandwiches already because i couldn't resist them...brie, grape and rocket leaves on seeded bread! Yummy! What are your favourite sandwich fillings?

    Quorn meat with salad cream

    Grated cheddar with branston pickle

    Cheese & red onion OR

Cheese spread with sundried tomatos. And I love those warburtons thins too instead of bread Smiley smile

Ooh, I hate butter and mayo on sandwiches, which makes me even MORE foreign to the UK, but I love a good cheddar and pickle sandwich, add a thick slice of ham in and that's good, too. Otherwise I'm going to have to say the best thing you could slap between slices of bread would be Nutella. Oh, or peanut butter and honey!

I can't eat bread any more (sob!) but it is my most favourite thing:

thick sliced white bread toasted, with lots of crispy bacon and thickly sliced home grown tomato.

seeded bread with thinly sliced roast beef, horseradish, cream cheese and bean sprouts.

thickly sliced homemade wholemeal (crispy crust) mozzarella, basil leaves and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar

soft brown bread, cream cheese, horseradish and smoked salmon.

Rye bread with a smear of mayonnaise and salad: rocket, tomatoes, peppers.

No butter, but eaten within 10 minutes of making.

For picnics: presliced white rolls with egg mayonnaise and tomato, or cheese and pickle, or tuna with chopped peppers and onion.

..or a cold fried egg bap (brown) with brown sauce and a mug of soup.

    I miss bread!
