Save the dates advice

Shenel, 21 April, 2021 at 10:32 Posted on Planning 0 3
Our wedding is booked for 24th October this year in Scotland and all my friends and family will be travelling up from London. My question is should I include hotels local to the venue on the save the date cards and how many should I recommend?

Thanks Tamsin. I really don’t want to do a website as most of the families are older and wouldn’t go online anyway, and just seems like yet another thing to organise! I will put 3 hotels on the save the dates and also add a line saying there are travelodge and premier inns in Ayr. ?

Hey, I did a wedding website but we also have quite a few older guests so I have messaged each person with hotels nearby who I think would want to stay. That way it also personal.

    hope it helps

Thanks for that. I have decided to put a few hotels on the save the date cards as I’m not having a website. I also don’t have a lot of my aunts and uncles phone numbers as a lot of them don’t have mobile phones so think it’s best that they receive something through the post. Everyone has a letter box at least! ?
