Save the Dates - names on them?

Hi Everyone,


I have designed the save the dates for our wedding in 2024 as we have finally officially booked the registrar and the venue. Both my fiancé and I are happy with the design but I don’t know whether to edit them to leave a space for the recipients name? What is the usual etiquette with save the dates? Do you add the names or is it just put on the envelopes?

    We just printed ours off without names and put the names on the envelopes x

    Don't normally put names on them, but if you are having a rule such as no children I would maybe put an insert in them to explain that and the invite is for the addressee on the envelope only and then address to the named invitees

    We didn’t put names on the save the dates just the envelopes, much easier to correct any mistakes/give out extra etc that way
