I am terrible for this and am always getting song lyrics wrong but not realising. Last night, after many many years of hearing the saying I finally worked out that the phrase 'well, if the CAP fits' used the word CAP and not CAT as I though. I always did wonder why a cat would fit someone!

    Things can only get better...now I've found you

    I thought as a kid that meeting her was so terrible that he felt things could only get better. Now I get that it was obviously that he felt that meeting her was a good thing and that now that he's found her he thinks that things will gety better.

    Also, if I said you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me...

    I thought that he meant would you hold your beautiful body against me - maybe a double entendre?
