Seaside themed sweet buffet

17 February, 2014 at 16:32 Posted on Planning 0 6

Hey

I need a little help. we are having a seaside themed sweet buffet.

I'm thinking of having:

haribo turtles

haribo freaky fish

shrimps

jelly dolphins

starfish sweets

ice cream cones (either foamy or chocolate)

sticks of rock.

How many different types of sweets are people having for a sweet buffet?

can anyone think of any seaside themed chocolate? All I can think of is the Guylian chocolate and I think that'll work out too expensive.

Thank you in advance.

    Yellow sherbet as sand?

    Fizzy Fish!

Haven't decided on our sweet buffet just yet but I am thinking maybe 6 -8 different types of sweets. Knowing me I will get carried away and have about 20, I love sweets!

You could make your own fish/seaside shaped chocolates. Melt chocolate & either add cherries/coconut/ mixed fruit or just leave plain, & put into sea shaped moulds or ice cube trays. You can also use toberlone instead or swirl white/dark choc together for a swirly effect.

It would work out much cheaper than Guylian ones.

How cute is this idea for a seaside wedding sweet buffet: https://www.hitched.co.uk/wedding-picture/beside-the-seaside_3451457.htm#gallery=seaside

We have a whole new seaside themed gallery under the inspiration tab on the main menu bar.
